WallFly broken? Goto and invite not working

its up n running now. i changed both of those to "Yes"

Interesting. This mod seems to have "special needs." It appears to put new players into a sort of limbo where they have to press a key before they can do any commands.

WallFly is unable to see any chat text spoken by any of the players on the server. (I tried stuffing WallFly a +attack/-attack sequence to see if this might get past the limbo mode, but it didn't seem to help.)

WallFly can't talk either (being stuck in limbo.)

So WallFly is both deaf and mute in this mod. 

I've never seen a Q2 mod this "special" before.

Since you guys have source code, it might be worth taking a gander at making the mod behave a bit more normally with regard to chat commands?

P.S. I was wondering if you compiled q2admin from tastyspleen's source code on github? Or from somewhere else? Your q2admin is executing some old (useless) bot checks that I thought we had removed from our version. (Unless it's a q2admin.txt setting, I don't recall which.) So just wondering.

Since I've sort of taken over the TMG mod maintenance on the Bitbucket site I'll look into what can be done about that limbo mode. I was thwarted a few times by it too and I don't know why it exists except for the purpose of displaying the welcome message. MotD?

I'm flying home from a business trip in Houston tomorrow so I'll be able to do some testing on my server this weekend or next week.

I used the q2 admin link you gave me. At some time before that I had another source I thought I started fresh but maybe I missed some text files.

I'll remove it all and make sure it's all tastyspleen version later today
