I didn't see anything too crazy from ely, other than how he normally plays.
Kinda boring to watch him stand there and plink people on the spawnpad with an rg or spam BFG in the most active areas to keep up his FPH thrill or w/e leads a player to gay people constantly like that..

In demo 2 there is a moment that shows someone who's probably using hax tho:

He hasn't used AC since then, and for some reason I doubt that:

a: he removed the known spiked models from his game folders before he switched back to a known hacked client that wont report those spiked models

b: he had any reason to change his alias and client at the same time, other than the AC kicks

c: if he used AC now those wouldn't keep popping up.


He's played as "stfuakma" for the past few months, and possibly one other alias.

I've talked to stick about this issue repeatedly over the years, on the servers, and every time he accuses me of making shit up and lying about him and he denies that any such thing happened even when confronted with evidence. I've also confirmed that he is the same player as "RippleFX".

Same ISP. Same State. Same Alias. Same spiked models 5 years later.

Stick is an old player from enter.net days (1999 or before).  Never knew him to cheat, although I must admit after it was mentioned that he may be cheating by someone in the server a few days ago (maybe you, Derv), I did notice he does predict people coming around corners amazingly well, yet can't do shit in a open field scenario.  Kinda sad that one of the originals that I knew from back then might be a cheating ass now.  :<

Let's clarify something. There's no "might" about being pegged by anticheat for spiked models. To my knowledge, AC will never incorrectly call some kind of unknown model a "spiked-model", and will only call any model a "spiked-model" if that specific model has been confirmed to be a spiked model. The only way such a mistake could be made is if someone intentionally took a copy of the model he's using and listed it on the AC server for malicious purposes. And as far as I know, there's only one person who would have access to do that... R1CH.

I've been into modelling recently. If I wanted to, I could probably make some brand new spiked player models that might get past AC. And if it really is just that easy, then I gotta say... whoever is using old spiked models that they found laying around the internet ALONG WITH anticheat... that person is a fucking dunce.

Someone might notice that I haven't been using AC lately too. Someone might suspect that I've tried this. I assure you, no, I haven't. Two things to consider: for starters, I'd have to be pretty damned stupid, bold, or BOTH to come right out and offer up such information. A guilty person would more likely avoid entering any discussions about spiked models. OH DEAR GOD, ME AND MY BIG MOUTH! But secondly, I don't screw with player models because they're animated. I don't screw with animations. Never. I don't know how. I don't really want to learn. It's enough of a pain in the ass just making static models, so much so that I've stopped work on my latest pak and been procrastinating about starting it again for the past couple of months now because every model ends up being a dreadful tedious chore to complete. Sure, the end result is kinda cool and interesting, but it's almost not worth the hours of work that goes into each one.

But one thing people maybe SHOULD think about... if you know someone that makes maps or models, just how sure are you that they wouldn't attempt such a thing? You never know about some people. Anyone feeling guilty yet?  Oh no no no, don't post here, that might make people more suspicious! Then again,... if you don't... maybe they'll become EVEN MORE suspicious! WHAT TO DO!?!

What I do know is that some people DO regularly attempt something, even in this ages old game:

Kind of like this guy with his many year old client reporting that his models aren't legit every single day, but not all the time. Some times they report good and others they don't. Fancy that.

Other times, it's people using anticheat who show up using models that don't pass the checks on the server and which are for obviously advantageous models or those for which I have rarely if ever seen a replacement. Like so:

ONLY a custom blaster (or every weapon if you remove the view weps update) and custom player model: none of the others reporting bad at the same time so it's not some fancy weapons pak.

If anyone has a custom blaster model worth replacing the stock one, I'd love to see a link to it.


There's fuckall to be done in those cases other than beat them legit and laugh in their faces while assuming that they were probably trying to pull a fast one.

Nobody who cares has the time in their day to spend making convincing demos in 3rd person cam, and after all these years a lot of the guys who do this crap have gotten pretty good at doing just badly enough to hide it.


PS: Stick changed alias after the initial post of this thread, and is playing obviously worse now that he's using AC instead of "nocheat" and it's not reporting spikes. His KDR dropped after being the same for months, and this month he's either changed alias again or fucked off bc trying isn't fun.

I found it funny after he was forced anticheat he struggled to get even 5 kills on the board. cheating scumbag. Funny thing is he used to sit in spec mode calling wallhacks on me, the difference is I can prove I am legit by using anticheat and have been since i came back from linux, failing no files using pretty much stock q2 apart from some of bullz sounds for rockets and railz.

Then you get guys come in failing video  files using nocheat, players like chackal who fail sound files like loud steps, player models, weapon models ect. who knows what they are using
