VaeVictis:i find it funny that you even consider grammar a sign of intelligence, that itself is a very uneducated claim

Not sure why that's even a rule. Sounds pretty dumb to me, especially since I'm not that good and doing all away games would certainly result in defeat (unless I'm playing someone super bad). Plus I notice U.S. players never turn down an opportunity to play against euros on their turf. Why was this rule even put in place? It paints euros in a kind of bad light, IMHO.The only silver lining would be that if I play at a UK server, I'd ping around 120-130. Not absolute ass, but close. ;p
I do however understand why my fellow Americans players are only playing in this league for fun, thus getting a chance to play matches with a normal ping would be nice. Playing and losing matches from ping alone is pretty frustrating.
h/a might be the fairest solution to a match between an hpb vs a lpb (although a matchup with such pings ideally never shouldn happen if we are talking about competitive play), it still has its flaws. The main problem besides some players not playing well with high ping, is the fact that you can manipulate the map pool in order to have a greater chance of having the tiebreaker map played on your home server. You could purposely choose a map that usually ends with huge gaps in frag counts.
The 12th season of the European Duel League has just started. Signups are open until September 29th.Contrary to the name, any player for anywhere is allowed to sign up and I encourage you to do so!http://q2scene.net/edl/index.php?op=com&id=2832
Mercy is for the weak. Here, in the streets, in competition: A man confronts you, he is the enemy. An enemy deserves no mercy.
