Even though I put that as a rule, I can give exceptions to this rule as I already have to one player so far. I'd prefer however if players would use AC to encourage fair play.

Also unfortunate that all of the players signed up don't meet your original purpose for a novice cup.

This comment is too vague so I'm not sure what exactly your point is. I've played with many of these players before and if I do recall correctly they do or have at least used AC at some point of time, thus I don't see how AC will become an issue that denies the current list of players or anyone else who I imagine would join this cup, from entering.

 While I agree cheating is a non issue, I think having fairly strict file requirements should be considered. Loud steps  rail hum and all the other garbage some people insist on using. AC or not is fine with me , but the files should be considered.

A note to the competitors. You need to idle in #nadl during the event so that you'll more informed and easier to reach during the competition. We'll be on: #nadl on irc.enterthegame.net

 If any of these players are up for some practice matches , join #nadl  and drop me a line.  Would be nice to at least be in decent playing shape for a tourney that has been well put together and offers prize money. Good practice for both players involved. So leave your ego at the door, and play this as its attended to be, a Novice cup.

Also for recording demos easily and quickly, I recommend using this script which Dervish gave to me one time:

Then you just simply have to press a button before the start of your match. :>
