Anyway...

While I personally seem to have little trouble tuning out players blathering on about {random nonsense} on the FFA servers, I also feel that a half-mute isn't some sort of outrageously burdensome sanction.

To test that, I've half-muted my own IP. I wonder if I'll notice at all.

There is another player called "wiggy" that does these similar types of trolling, and he is extremely idiotic and unforgivably annoying.  Very possible it could've been him.

I did notice it pretty quick. Someone says "hello" and I can't respond because I said "" thirty seconds ago due to some prior event.

The map ends and I can't say "gg' because I'm still muted.

Nevertheless, it's not that tough to adjust to.

After a few maps I have it dialed in to where I can mostly reply when I want to, when something fun happens.

Not the end of the world.

I'll keep it on for a bit longer...

the 1 minute is quite irritating getting in the way of usual chatter... glhf, gg, binds, that sorta stuff...

30 seconds was good, can still talk but have to think bout whether it is worth the 30s wait or not before hitting enter doesn't get in the way as much for binds or the usual gg or glhf...

45 seconds is the obvious middle ground for some one who is crippled by 60, but doesn't get the point with 30
