It reflects very common behavior from the very low skilled vanilla player "D" who has been doing this same crap for years, and regularly abusing the servers to be annoying and degrade others while never actually manning up or playing them:

It starts off with him using Goto to find people to harass and going to DM where he apparently never gets a single frag in 3 maps. He gets fragged by Misery and then starts crying about it:

Some 20 lines of abuse later, he realizes he's on ignore so he changes his name and spoofs misery to continue to be abusive and try to get around the ignore feature. He then uses misery's name to abuse the invite system and try to insult him:

It would be an option to simply /ignore him if this particular situation does not call for administrative intervention... only that if you "/ignore D", for some reason you ignore ALL inbound text, including ALL other players and WallFly.

This is his typical reponse pattern to being called out for being a stupid shithead. He acts like he did nothing wrong or that it was nothing that made him spend 20 minutes straight trying to abuse a player on the servers who literally did nothing to him.

Apparently "teased a little" is the same thing as intentionally spoofed his alias, spammed garbage at him for 20 minutes straight until other people didn't even want to hear it and accused him of hacking twice all the while being afraid to actually play quake 2 against him after getting killed by him once.

FYI, I didn't talk to Misery at all. I just ran a quick search of ts-live for my name, which this faggot (bundle of sticks) cannot go a day or two without dropping because he also does the SAME SHIT to me every time I'm using a recognizeable alias. He does the same shit to multiple players, and like the poll implies, We're all tired of it.

Misery and I used to play duels almost daily and I value him being around and playing q2. I don't want to see him get slandered, or to eventually not want to spend his tiny amount of free time enjoying q2 because of some abusive twat who is too much of a pussy to even get a frag in FFA vs anyone decent.

all D, shogun, and ty do are chat it up while everyone's trying to frag. Mostly talking smack and/or deliberately trying to have fun at someone else's expense, slander them, or whatever. ty may be exempt from what I said after 'or' possibly, but certainly not the other two.

Most of their in-game chatroom antics aren't worthy of a mute, but even the fact that they use q2 servers as their chatroom is likely annoying to many. I wish they'd just join up in an irc channel or something, especially when they're not even fragging in between talking.

I try not to pay attention to this type of stuff, but D and shogun should both have half-mutes on them by now. This action would possibly encourage their little group to have their conversations in IRC or something like I said, as well.

Oh, and it's tough to tell which is doing the name spoofing at times, but I think the main culprit behind spoofing names like 'quadz' and 'haunted' on the dm server, like the logs I posted in my channel showed today, should be restricted to their normal name. Pretty sure that was either D or shogun.

Not sure if action would have been taken just based on the chat alone. However, I'd imagine D has been around long enough to know name spoofing isn't allowed.

(It's unfortunate that single-letter names break the /ignore feature, but I think we'll have to address that separately.)

Note that D's IP is dynamic, so the forced name restriction will need to be updated if his subnet changes.

I could be wrong about you doing the name thing, I said it was most likely either you or D, if it's not you, then i'd obviously lean towards D.
