ex, I'm in agreement with you, and I actually wasn't taking credit for it... 2dum accused me of "disliking" this the success of ra2 nights so thought I'd point it out a few things though. Unfortunately, it's equally a shame that this 'event' is so much of a joke that no one good bothers attending.

Well, adren did show up for some fun last night at least.  Smaller, more hilarious games.  ;>

Pyr3x was around last week, and even krez popped his head in for a minute.  They're out-of-practice good.  :>

Haunted you suggested making a THREAD in march of 2013, ra2 has been going on since 2012, and it was my idea to narrow it down to 2 nites after i talked to von slander in pogo.

Pretty sure 2dum is trying to take credit for something that was already happening in random games anyway.  He really is on this kick pretty hardcore, because on Tuesday night he was private messaging me saying "you should be thanking me that I brought ra2 back."  I laughed it off at first because I thought it was just a coy little comment from our finger-friend 2dum, but now after reading this, I think he actually believes that he is the only reason ra2 is swingin again.  That's just not the case.  He might be lending a helping hand by advertising it, but so are shitloads of people.  I advertise it on different servers I frequent.  I know the RailWarz player "beav" advertises the nights to his crew as well, and others do as well.

I guess, all in all, 2dum should just stick to his finger and just be glad ra2 is doing well, and not concerned for the who and the why.

I've brought up weekly ra2 nights as early as 5 years ago when 2dum wasn't even around playing, including in early 2012 when people started playing it some again(also when 2dum was too busy accusing me of cheating on the ra2 server then trying to load up cheats as retaliation). If he's going to say that I dislike people actively playing ra2, then he shouldn't be surprised with a reminder that I provoked him to even do this, just like I provoked him to do this thing right. Obviously I'm not trying to take credit for it, and yes 2dum is what his name indicates for thinking he is responsible for a "resurgence" of ra2.

Long before you ever mentioned the idea of an ra2 thread being made, we were already at play multiple nights a week. You had absolutely NOTHING. let me repeat. NOTHING to do with us playing. Just to sum it up the way i see it. there are regular ra2 players that idle there on occasion. stealth being one of them. ra2 was empty for a while in 2012. this is true. haunted mentioned it but it didn't gain popularity. he didn't follow through with a commitment to host one, so it slipped through. months later, 2D comes along and probably joined a game with some of the idlers. He likes to play Ra2.

so he may have heard about haunted's comment. Then decided to post an ra2 event on the new calandar thigamajig. joined the server, used the invite system. got some more random players. posted the results. bingo. one successful night. he then followed through on a date and time. players seen it on the forum and on the server invite. end of story. all the extra drama is well, it is what is is.
