..when I initially proposed this 1am-5am on a tuesday night would've been the last thing I suggested. All 2dum had to do was get 3 people to vote with him on the day he wanted, just to tie another day, to get his way with it. Seems like a really bone-headed move to me when y'all are playing almost every night.. to both schedule it on an early week day and cater it to pacific time(not to mention, it's late even for PST)...

I'd be there, but the time and day is pretty crap for me as well.

On Tuesday I get up at 5:30am to commute 35 miles for a 7:30am sales meeting, and the next day I also have work to get up for at a reasonable hour. There's no way I'd be up and playing q2 at 11 or 12pm on a Tuesday, and I'm actually on the west coast, unlike the majority of the q2 players left.

I really don't see that time working for anyone but children and the unemployed.

If you want people to play on the weekdays, you need a reasonable time. Something like 8-9PM CST would work. Sunday probably would be a decent day to play for everyone, since most folks are at home during that time of the day.

Yeah, I agree.  This is only catered to the night owls who are all on drugs and not working (me).  :>  An earlier time OR a weekend time would be far better.

If you made it a Saturday night bash, people would probably enjoy it and you'd get the server packed.  But the Tuesday/Wednesday/any day other than Friday or Saturday?  You're only gonna have so many people on.  Like others have said, they have to do the 5-6 a.m. thing on the workweek, and getting up that early means getting in bed around 9-10 p.m.  Even if you are on the west coast, 10 p.m. is when most people are rolling into bed.  I think a revision is in order.

We should discuss 2 or maybe 3 days to put in the poll. thursday and sunday are the to typical semi-ok days of the ones people typically have to get up early the next day for, which is true for both for me. With the promise of friday the following, or being well-rested from the weekend(hopefully) it's usually more easy to cope with though. those days also work well around vae's professional and social life.

More than anything I just feel tuesday and monday are probably the worst days in general to have something like this, and it starts too late.

To me, Monday - Thursday nights are horrible nights to schedule anything on.  If it's going to be mid-week it needs to be EARLY in the evening, like no joke 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.  That would at least give the working class the chance to enjoy some games AND get to bed at a reasonable hour.

Mostly true, but I came to play for a bit and I work at 5am everyday .  Woulda been on sooner had I known it was planned for yesterday.  I forgot to check the day 2faggot said it was, oh well.  Played enough to watch golgay sit on the other side of the map and try his dick off to rail people 4on3(him being on the team with 4) because anytime he went where everyone else was, he got shit on, so he'd stay far away from the battles, lolnt.
