i rarely see anyone online at the designated time, so i assume nobody is going to play. pushing it back a couple hours wouldn't hurt. since 2dum is organizing this little get together. perhaps grant him some limited admin privileges?  any info on the map screenshot rotations yet? i will try to work on getting them tomorrow if not. been too busy.

Middle of the week is horseshit.  I had to get up at 7:30 a.m. for a full fucking day of errands and school shit.  Got to play for 1 1/2 hours but it was 1:30 by then, that sucked.

boo fucking hoo fatty.  I gotta get up for work everyday throughout the week at 5am so I don't wanna hear your shit about 7:30am.  I played a map and a half then left to lay down.  So far, it seems like it works out just fine being at the time it is since the lot of people who are mostly gunna show up anyway are the unemployed fatasses that play quake 20 hours a day(creepz/ani/2dum/random/VON SLANDER) etc.

The fuck does does he need any sort of admin privileges for?  The only thing that can't be done without admin is kicking someone as it was turned off awhile back when hops and I abused it   And here's an idea, just because he said the start time is 10, doesn't mean you have to wait til 10 to join.  Start showing up at 8pm or so, invite! people and I'm sure people will join the server instead of waiting til 10.  And I did look for that website that had reviews on every map and every arnea(lol random)*arena* and pictures of each one but it no longer exists or I just can't find it.  I think the person who made the webpage's name was ReVillA or something like that.  And nobody else is gunna do this so you're better off taking down your dumbass balanced CTF website and make an ra2 one.  God knows you have enough time to take on the arduous task of taking pictures of every map/arena and organizing it all/posting it, since you sit on your server 20 hours a day crossing every damn thing you got that someone will join and play your broken ass mod.  Enough said.

crossing everything i got? well it is true, tailoring my server has become more than just a hobby. i'm a perfectionist, so if i see something out of place or needs revising, i need to correct it.    even if i put up a Ra2 server, what difference would it make? you will still bitch that it's laggy. you really think i would let you connect anyways? lol. i'm not an unbiased or temperate admin like quadz.

its been a whole fucking week of voting, and there's already been 13 votes; probably half of those are from people who never play ra2 anyway.

just change the goddamn time so, like rick said, we can get normal people who will play on friday at 8pm instead of playing at 1:30am on a tuesday.

I was there last Tuesday around 11:30 p.m. and there were about 6 people on.  Kept growing from there.  Had to leave at 1:30 a.m. though, too damn late since I've been having to wake up earlier now.

The time thing would be a lot nicer for a weekend though, OR like was already suggested, have TWO days a week, one for the weekend people and one for the middle of the week crew.

I think the mod would benefit from two days a week rather than one, personally.  ra2 is fun as shit but once a week, especially on a Tuesday, sucks balls.  I love ra2, would like to play more often than it is now.

The votes were close enough to pick either day. Since i am making the effort, i am picking the one I most likely will be able to show up to every time. Whats wrong with making this thread

Saturday is now the Official Night for Ra2.
It will be from (8:30) pst - 2am pst

As indicated by others above, there is nothing stopping people from showing up and starting the event sooner.

This will take effect starting next Saturday, so people have a chance to be informed.

Note:
Because I was pushed over a cliff to make the day Saturday, I am making it known that I probably cannot show up every Saturday Night, but i will make an effort to. Golgo or haunted or anyone else who remembers Saturday night, please update the calender and the forum to remind people.

There used to be plenty of ra2 servers that had no damage on rocket jumps, and some of these maps were a blast to play with people being able to rj up from lower levels/platforms/ etc without even loosing armor. In fact, from my experience, rj was a bit part of early ra2.

The non-damage rj allowed for much faster play and obviously completely changed the way certain maps played. This setting never applied to match play obviously, but did allow for a fun alternative to the normal game. Some maps, like 6 and 14 were fun as hell on servers with no rj damage.

The reason these servers fell out of favor were for competitive reasons and people spaming rj's all over the place...
