If too many people do sign up, maybe we could have some pre-qualifying rounds or something... take everybody who signs up and toss them into sewer64 or spogsp1, just play to 50 frags or something... then take the top 30 scoring players, and send them to the 500/1000 match.

lol, no if u all read ahead a bit, I agreed to a simpler set that quads and defiant posted...and BTW...this is for everyone to decide, not just me.

I would like to participate, But I will actually be watching everyone playing, to make sure everything is going smoothly, and take some demo's of others POV.

Theres no point of having this tourney is your going to break it apeace at 250. Fraglimit should bet set at 500, with respawn not enforced, so if you have to go take a leak or get a drink, just idle. The whole point of this is stamina. And it should be played with all the players on one map, q2dm18. I think this map is big enough for 16+ people.

Of course there should at least 2-3 referees making sure nothing bad is happening. If you dont enforce the 2 second invul thing then there will be people camping the spawns like no tommorow.

Yes, that is why I am not participating, because I will be tallying it up if we play more than one map, and also spectating/demo'ing/ref'ing.  Here are the details thus far...

-500 Frag Limit
-1 or more maps (looks like q2dm1 through 8 or q2dm18 seems to be the main requests)
-Weapons Stay
-No camping policy, but it is frowned upon.
-Winner will be added to a NEW section dubbed 'POTM - Player of The Month'
-Private Server password
-No powerups or shields (only armor/mega)
-No Timelimit
-No breaks (breaks will be taken only at the expense of game time to the player)
-No forced Spawn
-Each player required to Demo their POV from start to finish, then sent to me
-2 or 3 second spawn protect

thats what I have soo far..I may or may not have left anything out...fell free to still add opinions, as we will not start signups until everyone is OK with these stipulations.

NOTE: anyone not participating, and would like to help run/ref these matches MSG me.
