i AM for the Death penalty,as long as there is a trial that one has access to all the due process one is entitled to.

And that is now a happy dream. The current administration is not willing to be inconvenienced in such trivialities. We snatch you off the street,we say you are guilty,you get no lawyer or even the chance to communicate with the outside world,are possibly given a pagent of kangaroos to officiate over you(with black caps in their pouches),and are effectively Dissappeared. Or a drone will fly through your living room and blow you and your neighbors up.

They have been testing drones in the US for some time now...but they've been having setbacks!

I thought I was going to just glance over this thread and move on, but something has me intrigued.

If the Illuminati existed and had political sway over the US, would they be able to control their own wikipedia entry? Wikipedia is constantly at odds with the US government and journalists and it is not for profit. That rules out the main arms of the organization (government, corporate, news)

Now I'm guess that it's possible for an organization that big to constantly update the page to what they want. (ala Scientology) It's also theoretically possible for that organization to hack the servers and constantly change the content. But the editors would change it back constantly and the effort should be public knowledge.

Anyway, is Wikipedia actually outside of the grasp of conspiratorial secret societies?

I just thought it was a funny and completely random point. No intention of using it to prove or disprove the existence of such an organization.

I think the idea of the wealthy and truly powerful is "Do what you like in your small people society, it doesn't effect us." I'm pretty sure they could give a fuck less if anyone believes they exist or not, because simply put, we can't stop them. They are on a level so far above and removed from the rest of us that we're a joke to them.
