With the calibur of some of the players that have entered this tournament, I think it is necessary to split it up. I think I put at least 6 of the registered participants on my list of top 10 in NA, and there are a bunch more that are close to that level.

Having a lower-skill bracket might encourage more signups that we need to reach 64 players. If we don't get there, you can always have byes for the higher seeds.

P.S. Where is Fajin? Isn't he supposed to team with Luci here?

2 16 player brackets, dunno about single or double... although the losers bracket allowed me alot more play in t3

he didn't know about this tourney til earlier today when i asked if he was playing.. i dont think he answered me or not but i told him luci wanted to team with him.

No double-elimination in 2vs2 tournaments. It will probably be hard enough trying to get all of the teams to play their games, let alone trying to get everyone to play twice. It was challenging trying to get some players in the 3rd tournament to play in both brackets (Winner/Loser).

It would be nice to have double-elimination, but this is not a perfect community, so it definitely would not work out.

me disconnecting wont be a problem.. my isp disconnects me only if ive been connected to the internet for around 3 hrs.. so before the match i can just reconnect.. so no worries unless something weird and different happens

dont see why the bracket system has to support that.. its not hard to draw out brackets and make your own especially with only the last few teams.

once you think about it element (to me anyways) bfg being on won't be gay.. i mean probably the only map that will have it is q2dm8 and maybe q2dm2. if you go for bfg in dm8 it leaves your teamate alone for awhile (unless you rj) so it's not a huge advantage.. plus i think there is skill involved with using it.

I go with defiant's qcon method proposal.. 5 maps are randomly selected (out of 8, my suggestion), and then each team get's to veto 1.

I can get the BFG by double jumping off my partner.. i've done it before..
