Has anyone done this before? Does it work just like it would on a Desktop/Laptop?
Know of any good Netbooks to run it without software mode?
Quake 2 was made to run on basically the first graphics card, but it runs well on any video card. Any machine today that doesn't handle opengl/dx10+ was probably bought out by OLPC and shipped over to Africa. My only concern would be the OS. The chrome book may or may not run it. Anything running windows or a linux varient should be fine.
