If you all hadnt noticed, there is a tastyspleen radio.Some of the admins DJ it at times.And even me!So if youd like some tunes to listen too goto tastyspleen.net/8000 when it says inn game on Xquake to hear the tunes

Lost in Love by Air Supply
The Hustle by whoever that disco group was
Billy Don't be a Hero (don't know who did that)
The Electric Slide by whoever

Then, I disconnected.

That must have been Mat playing that sh*t.

What you do is open an internet window and goto http://tastyspleen.net:8000/index.html
when prompted by console in game.And you can get a stream on!There is a way to get it on winamp i think..not sure how as I dont use it.

P.S. When I DJ you will know I will put it on the station name

ew, too mainstream. When I play quake I listen to something heavier and more evil! some death metal/black metal like dark tranquility, cradle of filth, children of bodom, emperor, in flames, unearth, shadows fall, all that remains, deicide ect... list goes on..
not saying that your list sucks but I havent played static-x, slipknot or rob zombie in years, cant deal with korn and linkin park though.

I must admit that i an kinda partial to listening to Ozzy, Disturbed and Saliva whilst I quake, can't beat listening to War Pigs, No More tears, Click Click Boom and Down with the Sickness.

I only listen to the sound of the game. Playing with some music blaring would be as bad as playing with the game sounds off to me and I sure can't do that.

I gotta hear the hum of my rail gun (and sometimes the hum of other players railguns)

I have it set so i can hear both music and sounds, I like to be able to hear footsteps, works well. Give it a try sometime you may enjoy it. I don't listen to music all the time but it is fun when you do.
