What can I say, the more I play it the more i love this thing.
Each new area I go into looks better and better. The further I go the better the stories get.
Its like that new snack you just got, at first taste "it's ok", then you continue eating and it starts tasting pretty dam good. By the time your almost 1/2 way through the bag your shoveling in your mouth talking about how dam great this tastes with your mouth full and looking HOPING there's another bag somewhere.
Aside from a few glitches that needs patched, its pretty darn good.
My main thing though is the mods that will be coming out for it and the mods that i intend on putting out for it.
First order of business with the mods is some sort of TastySpleen Stronghold with a town and large Lodge or something.
Gota finish the game first though, plan on running through it more than once for sure.

You have to select which ones you want the compass to point to from the Journal.
select/unselect main quests (mics quests act as one big main quest), but you can select or unselect individual misc quests if you have the main misc quest selected.

WOW lookin reading back that looks confusing as hell, but once you start clicking stuff in the journal you'll figure out what i meant. :)

Yup. Someone pointed this out to me, as well. I'm straight now. :>

Nice find TMF!

I hate you all,  I still can't bring myself to spend that much on a game.

I'll have to eventually,  I played morrowind for ages on my PII 333.  Smallest draw distance :(
Oblivion I've been playing more lately to try and satiate my appetite for Skyrim,  unsuccessfully.

:(

Maybe I'll buy it tomorrow

Woohoo!

The only thing between me and skyrim was a thin piece of glass at wallmart...  and then the clerk came over with The Key.

Fantastic game.  I was worried at first,  the opening scene I was having the hardest time with the mouse.
I picked a character and continued thru and the mouse was still garbage, and couldn't picture playing the game often and enjoying it.

Even with sensitivity turned up to where horizontal was overly touchy the vertical still took 5 or 6 mousepads to look straight up or down.

After you can get around the buggy mouse stuff, its amazing!

I dunno if you are talking about the same buggy mouse stuff.

I found what to add to the ini file and some other tweaks online, got it to work perfect.
Can't believe it's that bad by default, and no way to fix it in the menu!

It was worst for me at the beginning. I was confused as heck because my keyboard and mouse weren't working. Also, I saw buttons like X and Y as if I was playing the game on a pad. It took me a moment to realize that the game could read Xbox 360 pads and peripherals. Actually, I had my Xbox 360 arcade stick plugged in my pc and the game was auto-detecting it.   :dohdohdoh:

I'm not sure what buggy mouse stuff you all are talking about. What's the problem?

Strange. Don't remember the sensitivity being that ultra low for me. I don't remember much about the beginning of the game though.

I'm with Barton....I'm not having an issue and I've done well over 50+ quests now.  I've gotten stuck in a fort once behind a gd tower somehow, but thankfully I quicksaved before I even ran in the place so I lost a whole 2 minutes, bout it.

I've noticed that I cannot favorite things anymore nor do certain keys that I've bound to other functions work anymore for other tasks. Some books you need to 2x click to open(with one click you can only drag it around) and you can Take it with another keypress. But can't do that now...and a few quests rely on presenting journals and such to people to finish. Hope tha patch fixes that at least.

Must've been one of those doors that don't respond to lockpicks! :dohdohdoh:

I'm guessing whatever it was wasn't intentional.  Mouse behavior was OK for me, without tweaks.
