You know, it's really not that bad. We were only married 1.5yrs, I'm still young @ 30 (heh) and there's plenty of other women out there. Thanks for the thoughts but don't worry guy! I'm fine.

haven't done anything scary lately. i will share something that happened when i was young though i will never forget this as long as i live.....

I was about 11-12yo at the time, one night i woke up needing to go to the toilet. the house i grew up in had a long hallway. as i am heading out of my room and started to walk down the hallway, this glowing illuminessence "thing" was looking at me from down the end of the hallway. it's face was peeking around the corner and just starring at me. It was like a glowing yellowish/orange colour. it scarred the living shit out of me. i went running into my parents room in an absolute fright. i was so terrified i tried to speak but couldn't. when they got up to have a look, it was gone. to this day i have no idea what it was, but i will never forget it. Haven't seen anything like it since

No. No it doesn't. Not at all. According to what I've heard from many people, the guys typically handling the mixing board are totally clueless. All I know is that the bass always seems to be a bit too prevalent. It overpowers every other sound and most of what you hear from metal bands is a dull throbbing low end that drowns out a lot of the midrange and MOST of the treble frequencies. They have about 3 rows of PA speakers stacked 2 or 3 high on both sides of the stage. Plenty of volume to cut through the crowd. But either it's true that the people working the mixers are idiots, or the speakers themselves are just shitty. Probably both. Looks like the same damn speaker cabinets they've used since the 90's.

Speaking of "ghosts". Not really a ghost, but close enough.

When I was probably 14 or 15 in high school, I used to drop LSD on a daily basis. I got called to the principals office for something bad I had done a day or two prior that I had been written up for, I forget what it was. Since I used to get written up probably once or twice a week, and I was usually fucked up out of my head, you can understand why I can't remember specifics. Anyway, I had already dropped a couple hits of acid that morning. I had 4 or 5 tabs of acid left in a piece of foil, also had a bottled water bottle about 1/2 full of vodka, about 1/8oz of some decent weed, and one large bottle of Robitussin DM all in my backpack. So on the way to the office, I went into the bathroom and swallowed all the weed, chugged down the robitussin and vodka at the speed of light, and dropped the remaining tabs of acid. I went to the office and they ended up suspending me for a day or two. My mom came and picked me up and was bitching me out all the way home in the car, at which point it all started to hit the living shit out of me. I went to my room and passed out on the bed. I woke up maybe an hour later and was staring at the stippled ceiling as it was swirling into all kinds of fun shapes and colors. I rolled over on my side and was staring at my closet door. Then my grandfather walked into my room from behind the chest of drawers beside my bed, which was fucked up as hell because he had died a few months before that. He went over to the closet, turned and casually looked at me and waved with one hand, didn't say a word. Then he opened my closet door, went in, and started disappearing downwards like he was walking down a set or stairs. I was freaked the fucked out and rubbed my eyes, and when I opened them again, my closet door was closed. So I got up and went over to the closet and looked inside trying to find the stairs he went down but theres nothing but piles of clothes and assorted other junk all piled up in the bottom. I started throwing shit out of the closet trying to find a trap door or something in there. After I had thrown most of the shit in my closet out into my room making a HUGE mess, I then realized, "You fucking stoned idiot, you aren't going to find a trap door in the floor."

Not really scary,... well, it was a little unsettling at the time. But that was the last time I ever considered dropping that much acid at once. I was still tripping from it about 2 days later when I went back to school too, lol. For a while I was thinking it would never wear off and I was on one of those "permanent trip" horror stories they tell you about in school to deter you from ever trying LSD.

I've ridden this one afew times... Millenium Force I'd say was scarier though. Just as tall(basically) except you have the slow creep up on that initial drop... lol, I hate that shit ;>
