I went on a tandem hang gliding flight back in October. It was a little scary, but more awesome than anything else. I'd like to take lessons, get my own glider, and start flying on my own, but I'm not sure when I'll have the time and funds to do that.

I have done some good coasters, the sling shot, bunge jumping, etc.

If I get back to vegas, I am going to give this a try.

Scariest coaster I've bee on was millenium force... it's not the tallest/fastest(i've been on that one, it's a few places down) but it's worse imo... I've also dropped from the stratosphere too like that dude except I was wearing a thick metal type harness thing hahaha. that one(power tower), and the other two i mentioned(millenium force and the fastest, top thrill dragster) are the 3 "stratocoasters" i've been on.

oh, and millenium force is 2nd/3rd in speed/height in the world.

I don't really go to amusement parks that often. Last one I went to was Six Flags of Georgia, and it was probably around 2002. I wouldn't really rank coasters based on "scary", just because I don't get scared riding roller coasters. Not trying to sound like a badass, it's just that roller coasters aren't scary to me. Free fall type rides are scary to me, cuz I'm not too fond of heights, so I don't go on those. So I'd really have to say the scariest part of any roller coaster ride is just before the chain finishes towing you up the tallest part of the track. ANYWAY!!! The most "intense" one I've ever been on was probably the Ninja at Six Flags of Georgia. It's a little old, and it's a steel one with corkscrews and loops and all kindsa crazy shit. It's your regular old 2 rows of 2 seats per car and maybe 4 to 6 cars per train. But it's got so many turns and shit to it that the G's throw you all around, pretty violently. Not a ride I'd recommend for people with osteoporosis if you know what I mean. The G's are so wacky and there's so many crazy turns all compacted into a jumbled spaghetti ball of a track that you really have no time to see whats going on around you. It's just a blur, and all you really get to experience is how it tosses you back and forth and down into the seat... and then it's over. And when it is, you almost feel like a fucking idiot for waiting in line that long for something you can barely remember.

I am the opposite, the falls that give you that momentary weightless feeling is what I love. Coasters are good to, but I get screwed up on rides that spin me. The scariest I have done so far was the bungee I did years ago. They did not have all of the restrictions when I did it. I was able to jump from 150ft and it was over a small pond not an 10-20 foot thick air bag

The pond looked like a puddle from 150 and the ground effect during the fall was awesome. The Stratosphere jump looks like it would be a rush even though I know you are held back a little.
I timed the video and you drop over 800 ft in about 18 seconds. I was in Vegas about 7-8 years ago and rode all of the stratosphere rides they had at that time. The coaster and one the swings you over the side are cool, but I actually liked the one that launches you up the needle.
One day I get back to Vegas and give that jump a try

Well scary doesn't equal "thrilling" to me. I suppose a free-fall type of amusement would be slightly thrilling, but bungee jumping and the likes just aren't safe enough to me. With the type of luck I usually suffer from, I don't trust a cable not to snap. That's why I don't like flying on airplanes either. Maybe they're safe enough... but gravity ain't kind to people who have engine trouble at high altitudes, and no amount of statistics proving a streak of safety really make a difference to me when I become one of those freak incidents when shit goes wrong. To make a long story short... if I were really out to be "scared"... I'd just don me a Ku Klux Klan t-shirt and take a stroll down Stewart Avenue in southwest Atlanta after midnight.
