Use a freeware program like audacity to capture the audio and export to .wav

I used to have to use a cable from my headphone jack to my line in, but figured out now you can just select "windows WASAPI" as your input and it will snag the audio from there. Works pretty good for capturing a sound clip from a youtube vid.

Ive seen tutorials out there for converting to a couple different formats for ringtones

Little late,  but I use YTD, youtube downloader.  Saves the video right off of youtube,  then same program lets you convert to a ton of formats.. video or audio only.   I use an old version of Goldenwave to clip the sounds.

Black soldiers' museum proposed at Georgia's Stone Mountain

I don't have any issues with a Black soldiers' museum, but I don't think this is the best place for it.  I think some people want it at Stone Mountain because the dome's north face boasts a massive stone carving of former Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson.

Not only that, but it was also the home of the 2nd incarnation of the KKK back in the 1930's or sometime around then. Back in those days, they'd hold their retarded cross lighting rituals on the top of the mountain. Not many people are still alive to remember it first-hand, but I had family on my moms side who were native to the Stone Mountain area and they always said you could see the crosses burning at night from as far away as Duluth, which is probably 40 miles or something.

Personally, I have no problem at all with them wanting to put up a museum dedicated to black civil war soldiers, as long as it focuses on black CONFEDERATE soldiers specifically. There's literally NOTHING commemorating them or recognizing them anywhere that I know of, which is fucking horrible. Too many people think of the black Confederate soldiers as slaves who were only brought along to basically be human work horses. And many people don't wanna understand what the times were actually like back then, but most of these black men actually cared a great deal about their owners and were held in high regard by their masters for agreeing to go along with them into battle, especially when shit got really tough after Gettysburg. Many of them proudly gave their lives defending the South, and too many misinformed people consider them to be unwilling participants in the fight. They were soldiers in every sense of the word. They deserve to be recognized and revered as such, rather than being pitied as helpless victims.

I imagine 1 ticket for a dumb little joyride like that would be probably be close to $100,000. And I'm probably low-balling it with that guess, it'd probably be WAY more. Being able to tell my friends I went to outer space and experienced it's weightlessness is NOT worth the price. "You went to space!?! GASP! Pull your dick out, I HAVE to suck that thing RIGHT NOW." ...is probably what WON'T happen.

I kinda thought we'd have some kinda structure built on the surface of the moon by now. A permanent base where astronauts could go and do extensive research. We went to the moon almost FIFTY YEARS AGO. And since 1972, nobody's been back! And yet they're talking about finding ways to send people to Mars. I don't get it. Who the hell even knows what's really on the moon. There could be all kinds of goodies buried a half mile down that they could mine out and bring back to earth. Maybe elements we haven't even seen before.

They've proved they can find the target, now all they have to do is keep it upright.

I don't know how much money reusable boosters are going to save them. Considering the amount of inspection that's going to be needed to prepare the used boosters and engines for another flight, they could have concentrated on making less expensive boosters to begin with. Compare the cost of servicing a reusable shuttle and strapping it back on to a fuel tank and SRBs.

All the private companies have yet to re-launch a used booster. They'll have to prove they can launch, recover, re-launch over many cycles without a great big kaboom before they'll ever get people on board. It will be as exciting as the Redstone days.
