Strong opinions? Yeah, it's obviously HORRIBLE what he did. Helping terminally ill people end their lives on their own terms by their own choice rather than letting them shrivel up into an unrecognizable pile of skin of bones because it's what someone thinks God wants for them.
Suicide is not a crime. Corporal punishment (which I agree with by the way) is more of a crime than suicide since the person doing the dying is usually not a willing participant.
