Well, I don't know what's going on Maric. I haven't seen Laura around since Tastyspleen.net stole and published the contest maps on to their servers before the maps and contest was finished/over.
Maybe she just gave up on those 4-6 criminals, who seems to control the TS.net, I just don't know.

Anyone know what's going on? I dropped out of the q2cafe scene whenever the "q2reloaded" board hosted a contest and everyone jumped in without looking. Thought I'd drop by to see if things blew over. Guess not

P.S. It would be a cool gesture of good faith if we could identify the apparently unfinished maps and remove them.

How is it that Laura, and anything she spawns, has *any* credibility whatsoever? Some people seem to be content to sit in their own little corner and passive-aggressively remove themselves from the community at large. I really really want to support q2cafe, but every time I extend the offer to promote something, work on the site a bit, or anything else, I get dead-walled. And then the lashing out for... what reason?

X7 uploaded her maps. I was uploading a player skin one night and I noticed they were there. So I assumed X7 uploaded them. Or someone else uploaded them just to spite spawny.

Also, Wixen is a liar.

So, X7, who is purportedly a supporter of Laura (I don't hold anything else against him) uploaded them? If this is true, than a) ts.net admins had nothing to do with it and b) someone needs to do some fact-checking.

And c) if X7 was acting out of best intentions, then this is a moot argument anyway.

Yeah, it's situations like these that make me appreciate everything quadz has done for us. Not only is he not a total shithead, but he's also so freakin' patient in putting up with shit like this. I think I speak for everyone when I say we are very... VERY... thankful for someone like quadz for keeping this game alive.

To the best of my knowledge, there has been zero attempt to contact me regarding any such map issues.

Between the PM system on the forums, availability on the IRC channel, and console@tastyspleen.net email, I don't feel I've made myself terribly difficult to reach. (Any email mentioning quake should get past my spam filters.)

We certainly didn't deliberately publish unfinished maps.

If anyone feels we have content on tastyspleen.net that should not be publicly available, they are encouraged to please contact us so that we can be made aware of the issue.

Actually, to remove or not to remove the maps is for the mappers to decide, not Wixen or Spawny *thunder*.
