Each time I enter the server, I have activated the god mode and "notarget".

The grace of the Coop is playing with more players, usually as the game should. Use cheats in the game takes the fun, and ruins.

I know the server disables the cheats, but I noticed that, although you can't put "give rocket launcher", you can place "give laucher Rocket", and it works.

Note: Only used to verify that cheats were disabled, and to save me from other cheaters who began to kill us with infinite bullets.

That's it.  I don't know if you think like me, but having a door that needs a disk or a key that is far away, open easily using cheats, I think it shortens the game and it isn't funny.

Is it possible to code a sort of vote to disable all cheats in coop?

If you don't want to use the super secret ways of using cheat codes, THEN DON'T USE THEM. So far I don't think it's really a huge problem. Personally I hate jumping on there when its abandoned and someone has left off at one of the maps towards the middle of the game and there are NO WEAPONS TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE. In cases like that, I like having the option of adding at the very least some weapons and ammo to my inventory. ALSO, if a few people are on there, ammo pickups can become scarce when some nitwit noob who can't aim makes a point of picking up every item he sees and then immediately getting killed and starting over with the same amount of ammo he had when the map loaded.

yes, you need to use the "give" cheats, because most times you allways start at the middle of the game.

Yes, that's fine. But using cheats such as "god", "notarget", "give red key" "noclip", etc. isn't funny... more if you join into the server, and you start (without activating it for yourself) with some of these cheats.

I don't have problem at the cheats "kill" (lol, i dont know if it is a cheat), "give machinegun" "give bullets 999999", etc.

if you start with "god" activated, disable that. Just type "God" with a capital letter.

Lately we've been getting a small hardcore group of Spanish speaking guys who find it mandatory to use God mode, all weapons, unlimited ammo, unlimited health and even constant noclip sometimes. All rather pointless at such a low skill Q2 endeavor. They will also kill new entries or themselves if the mood strikes. One guy even goes into noclip and rushes to the exit of the level, leaving the rest of us with little ammo and little gameplay. I've kicked a few of them but they just come back and go thru the same routine. And I can't really dialogue with them because I gots no Spanish.
I would be in favor of completely shutting down all cheats, except you will need certain keys and passes to proceed, and you won't have them if you join in a later section on that part of the game. So you either go back several levels or maybe get stuck. As far as weapons go I would make grenades the only one that is free.

BTW I'm only talking about the Coop(1) server - not Rogue or Zaero.

I've seen them. They all seem to carry the BTF tag with them. And I don't even think they're ACTUAL BTF.

I like coop but haven't hit the servers much lately because I  hate getting "friendly fragged" intentionally  and will usually leave after a time or two of that. I have a smattering of Spanish (enough to get by) but have found it doesn't make any difference - and -  those who do such things aren't limited to that group and enven if you dialog with them usually continue to behave that way anyways....

I've always had an idea for a Single Player mod.

You start with 50 grenades and a GL. All ammo, health, armor, and powerups are removed. You are scored based on how many grenades you have when you exit.
