I'm going pretty low-key this BF, as I usually do.  Just shopping from the comfort of my own home, on my computer.  Picked up a refurb B&N Nook e-Reader for $86.  I don't read much now, but maybe this will encourage me to read more =P  Picked up a couple games on the cheap from some of Steam's sales.

I would have loved to have gotten that 42" 1080p Plasma from buy.com for like $298 shipped.  Would like to get a new SSD and/or a large 2TB drive for storage.  Also itchin to FINALLY get an LCD, though not sure if I'll like em.  Still sportin a 19" CRT.

What about you guys... any epic BF scores to brag about?

I worked... I got paid while other payed.   

We've been buying kids presents through out the past several months &, odds are, payed less then if we got in line ~6pm last night to get in some store first.

Was going to head to WA for TG at my Dad's but not this year. I went to visit on Veterans day (and waited 4hrs in the crossing lineup. I'm going to spend xmas at his place this year too and be back up here for Boxing day (Canadian BF).

But I'm with Punk. Buying online is much easier these days with all the shipping discounts  I can get it all shipped to my dad's place for cheap and pick it all up on my visits down there.

Newegg and MemoryExpress.com seem to work for me ATM so who knows.

I'm not sure yet.  I purchased both ebook and paper.

But if the paper book is nearby, I think I'm more likely to grab that than the electronic version.

why pay for shit like that? i haven't bought a book in years cause anything i want i find for free, same with music, haven't bought a cd in years, get all my songs for free. get all my programs for free. just gotta know where and how to look

I can't stand reading e-books... can't have my eyes in front of a monitor for that long. I'll always buy the book... plus I like to support the few authors I really enjoy.

As far as music is concerned... I used to torrent hundreds of albums then buy the original of ones that I like, but now I just get my sampling from youtube then buy it.

Haha! If you ever hit one of the stores as the front doors open at 4 or 5am, you'll find there's absolutely NOTHING "good" about it. I recommend kevlar, pepper spray, and a football helmet.
