i dont even understand why haunted is on the ndml team... every time i see him in tdm hes got ilke the second to worst net...
The net score doesn't mean everything in teams. You can play specifically for your score, and not try to overtake important positions. Every once in a while I play like that as an experiment, and get like 5-5, while other teammates get 2-40. You and Epitaph actually come to mind Vae, with you usually losing because you never really play teams, and when you do you stay way from everything. I played a decent game on dm8 the other day, got like 15-18 and retook a good teams position while haunted tried to get bfg. It was a little frustrating, but you can't go by the scores in friendly games. Haunted knows other maps, and he knows whats going on. I just figured kickr0 was a stronger team player, and was hoping ya'll could pick him up.
think before you post

Quote from: vaewell... retaking positions is good... but if you have a -20 net, thats still twenty more points for the other team, and when the round ends all that matters is the scoreboard, not who held the mh room the longest... yeah i dont play teams and im not good at them, never claimed to be, but i still understand that a negative net is a bad thing lol... if you retake a strong position, usually you will have a better net anyway, like some one who controls the mh room for their team with chain and rockets, the enemies have to come to them so their kills will be low, but they will have a good stack so their deaths will be even lower resulting in a positive neti dont really ever see haunted do good in team games, his 1v1 and team games are way far apart, so im still confused as to why hes on the ndml team lol... guess some one just doesnt want america to do well

Then you have these players who play in 2v2's and 3v3's and have a good score and think they are great. Here's a news flash, scores in teams and in general don't mean everything. This is because any decent player knows in order to play the best for the team it often requires you to sacrafice your life and die multiple times rushing with weak guns ect.. to reclaim control. This is also the case in a 1v1 (especially on edge) where you may have to die 4-5 times before you can retake control. Then of course they can always hide at upper rocket which is why i've always said edge is a bad duel map once you reach a certain level. However this notion unfortunately was never picked up on by new school players and is why I get so frustrated playing with teammates I don't know. Stop worrying about your score so much and start playing as a team, this is what used to make quake2 fun and not this ego war that is constantly being waged. Any decent player knows that if you go 10-0 and you partner goes 0-10 then either your partner is a terrible player, or your a terrible teammate (most likely the latter)
A - Vae really feels he would have been a better choice for the teamB - Vae is just envious, so he is trying to discredit Haunted's skills I am going with B
