I get that same error every time that map rolls around.

I'd like to troubleshoot this... it loads fine for me.  Which texture is reported as causing the problem?

The map itself looks appealing to me, although I've only played it a couple times.  But it's textured somewhat in the style of in2obl.  And it's got some 'secret' routes up to the roof of the map, which seems fun.

Well what's the "secret" to getting out of the spots where you can get stuck behind walls with having to suicide? Also, that lift by the stairs (if this is the map I have in mind) doesn't work. Those stairs lead no where. I guess it's playable, but there are tons of other maps designed better to choose from.

The error seems to be one particular texture that's either corrupt or missing. I think someone else posted the condump of the error in another thread, I forget where though.

I don't think iD really cares much about Q2 and Q3 anymore. Both games feel a bit like shareware nowdays.

It's still for sale on Steam.  The last I've heard from id Software -- basically what John Carmack said when they GPL'd the source code -- is that the game assets (textures, maps, sounds, ...) are not freely distributable.

So until I hear differently from them, I'm obligated to abide by that.

Same with Doom 1.  You'd think that'd be considered abandonware but along came Doom RPG when less powerful mobile phones needed quality games.

Super Mario 1?  Look how much life is in Super Mario Collection/All-Stars same way.

Plenty other examples too just off the top of the head.

Original Lemmings?  Shit, how many people would love that for their phone?

ME!  I've got every Lemmings game ever made.... Love them lil green haired buggers... not to mention the original (not the remake) had some pretty cool sound trak.
