This feature was expanded in mods like Digital Paint and Action to allow the files to be heard by other users. It really is just a command to play CD tracks that was expanded to .wavs for presumably debug reasons. It can be used for plenty of custom config needs. Things like playing the brain eye adjust sound for a sniper bind or starting item timer sound effects in TDM.I'm surprised that Vae didn't know this. Master dueler.. SHAH!
Yes, Yes..As you say.. All people playing have to have the files, but when one guy plays them everyone hears them.SO to clarify: the wav files need to be put in baseq2/sounds folder?I want to remake the F stops.. so I bind F1 "play (filename).wav"?Anyone comment on this? Correct? Thanks
what if anticheat is disabled? If I'm not using anticheat, .. well.. it's not working anyway.... shoot...

SHAH! im well aware, im surprised you didnt know the tdm servers all have the play sound disabled through anticheat to disallow item timers... hence still leaving the command useless
