i was thinking a lot befor making this post,but i see that it is the best day to tell this to evryone
when i started playing q2,i saw a player named flapster,he was asking some questions about me and i said that im an arab and im muslim but not a terrorist
so he just said after a 5min of silence"i got to go and he disconnected",so i didnt tell anyone about myself
but when i joined RB clan (now called {X} ) i told sheep about that and i saw that he accepted me like that and he even acted nice with me,and also cajmere(zeppelin)said"i dont care about beeng an arab,it is ok,your a nice guy that's all"

even befor playing,i said "im an arab in an usa server,i hate usa and usa hates arabs and muslims"
80 % of TS players know me and most of them likes me cause im allways acting nice and i dont say sh*ts about them
i maked this post to tell to evryone that im an arab and a muslim,and im proud of that and i will stay like that to the day of my death
i know that most of you will hate me,and yes i hate usa cause of what they do to the arabs and muslims,but what i want is show me some respect and dont insult my religion and my country

I'm not going to nitpick this. This is the result of taking Focolor's comments too seriously. He said most of the things you are mad about in jest. The rest of them he said just to push your buttons.

Nobody here is actually going to hate you just because of your religion, so relax and have some fun playing the game. Regardless of your religion or location, your friends are still going to be your friends. I think you're a very cool guy and that you define yourself that way.

We're all primates, we all have the same nervous systems, we all feel the same pain at the loss of a friend or relative, and most of the citizens in every country face the same kinds of problems: like how to put food on the table to feed their family.

So I may hate certain individuals and particular ideologies, I don't hate 'arabs' and 'muslims'.

Obvious example: When a member of the Taliban throws acid in girls' faces because they're on their way to school, then I hate that asshole and his poisonous ideology; I don't hate the girls--who are presumably also muslim.

Sofiene, I've always thought you to be a really pleasant person, and nothing that you've said will change that! It's brave of you to express an opinion that you feel won't be well received.

With respect one thing I found interesting is that in one sentence you suggest you aren't a terrorist, as though being muslim and being a terrorist go hand in hand. Shortly after you state that you hate the USA because it has wronged Muslims and the Arabic community. Has it not occurred to you that it is as much a minority of the 'USA' (and other nations) that has wronged the Muslims, as it is a minority of Muslims that are "terrorists?"

That's kind of what I was touching on in the other thread where this little gay parade started. People who are deeply religious tend to see everything from a completely black and white point of view. If your opinion differs from theirs, they do not say to themselves, "Well, he just a different opinion."
