i rebooted the cable modem but doesnt work!

I'm not too sure, but I think that cable modems often use an IP that never changes. Keep trying it over the next few days. If it doesn't work, like I said, you'll just have to wait the month.

You could try using a different client or different version of the same client, just make sure that when you set it up, you use a different name.

If even that doesn't work, you could just use a web based irc in the meantime until the ban expires. It's happened to me before. Luckily I don't have a static IP though.

yeah, all i need to do is restart my modem for no more then 5 mins and i get a new ip :/

i know thats how comcast works lol and i know other isp's do that as well

all you retards even said i was ban dodging one day cause tastyspleen is still in my autoconnect for irc and my internet dropped for like 6 hours one night so when it came back up i was assigned a new ip lol

ive tried getting a new ip for routing reasons and shit (total waste of time) and i couldnt get a new one even if it was off for like an hour, guess it depends on how many customers and how many ip addresses your isp owns, but no i didnt just pull that information out of my ass
