The first time I compiled my map in BSP, it gave me no errors. It was simply a test to see if the push entities were working fine.
The second time it gave me this error:

Why is this?
And is there a way to control how fast the push entities 'push' you? I found myself flying all over the place without editing it.

Me neither.
You can, but I'm not sure how to.

By the way, this map has many push entities and only one player_start. Underneath those is a floor.

I think it should be:

Looks like there are too many entities. How many push brushes did you make in total?
The same error happens when I use the give all cheat on one of my maps. The map contains every monster in a medium sized room and two big func_trains.

I get exactly the same error, but instead of v_blast I get v_rail.

You might wanna check you didn't make over 200 push brushes or that he map is hole-free.

You might wanna check you didn't make over 200 push brushes or that he map is hole-free.

By hole-free you mean leak-free?
Yeah, that won't happen until the very end.

And it has over 200.
I'm going to work on decreasing the amount of them.

The problem was that the map needs to have Sonic the Hedgehog-like bumpers so if you bumped it in one direction it would push you back the opposite way.

I wonder if it could be from a huge bunch of point light entities too..

I didn't use those yet.

I'll start decresing the amount of them.
As for the limit on how much an entity pushes, how can you set it?

And nevermind; the size of the push is ok, even on the slippery surfaces.
But how can I set custom sounds to an entity?

This is how to set up a sound in the map:

Say you wanted that trigger_push to make a sound, I think you can use the target and targetname keys to link a target_speaker entity with it, so that it plays a certain sound when you hit the push.

Target? Targetname? What are those? And how would you do that?

Now one of the push entities aren't pushing. It just makes me stick to it unless I run from it.
EDIT: I figured out the source of the problem. Thanks to having two of them in the map, it looks as if I can't be pushed at 0 degrees. Every other degree works fine, just not that one.
EDIT 2: I can make a Demo if anyone wants to see what I'm talking about

How can I make it so a fan lift embedded in the ground would rise me up and then when it's not under me I'll fall back down to the ground?

And BOO-YAH! I started working on it at 1:30 P.M. and I just finished the base of the level now at 3:30 P.M.
And it looks pretty good too; besides the fact that the colors don't fit extremely good.

But I cannot figured out how to fix the angle 0 problems with the trigger_push's!  :help:

Ok; it's called "speed" and the default is 1000.
I'm going to set one to over 9000...
