I'd like to see ALL Xatrix maps available on Xrazy server at least. I find the download speeds from that server to be exponentially faster than xatrix.

Xatrix downloads at a snail's pace.

I don't care how many servers there are. This argument about theoretical intellectual property I find quite bizarre. If I'd put a shitload of effort into making something I was proud of then I'd want the largest possible audience to have access to it. No?

Exterminaders overrides

My overrides

X7s overrides

JQuestts overrides(?)

Will zeps overrides be removed from xrazy as well and put on the new server?

Ans what about xcarena? Its on BOTH xatrix and xrazy!

Are we going to remove xcarena from both servers and only add it on the new server?

( I still like XTRA

)

GOTO ACKBAR has a certain ring to it.

I don't really care what maps go into the rotation on this 3rd server, as long as they aren't LARGE low action maps. If they are larger in size, make sure that you are able to move about quickly (like outdoor maps). Nothing clears a server with relatively few players connected, quicker than a low action large map.

So quadz, let me see if I understand this correctly. This 3rd server will have all XATRIX maps/overrides except for "hers". The XATRIX server will contain the classic, and or classic styled maps/overrides. We can make overrides for any maps that "she" is unwilling to share, so long as we start from the orginal entity list of the original map, and make the override different enough, to your satisfaction, and hopefully not "hers".

Oh yea, it wouldn't break anybody's heart if you restricted the size of overrides - just a suggestion. No excessive

Please clarify, if I have misstated anything.

Dont forget to give another name to the different overrides, or you'll replace spawny's overrides!!

Update:

XTRA server is added. Haven't had time to tweak the maplist yet, so currently it's just a clone of XATRIX.

Also added, ROGUE and ZAERO deathmatch servers.

like ztn2dm3 is xdmp4 in xrazy

and about xzoo, its a nice map, but i see everybody moving to xatrix when the map begins.

FYI - I was talking with spawngirl last night on IRC. We were discussing how, for example, servers like vanilla, dm, and mutant, even though they are the "same mod", also share some overlaps with the same maps and overrides.

spawngirl has agreed that it is OK for some of the XRAZY overrides to be added to XTRA.

Maybe we could whittle the list down to the top 20 or so for starters. (Dunno if the exact number matters, just trying to move things forward.)

She was talking about if anyone (Including Debbie and exterminader) used of her sounds in any other maps, she will leave (forever)
