My computer is being rather stupid, im not sure what's the matter with it to be honest, here are the symptoms..

1 - After about an hour, the internet stops working until I reboot, it simply stops working even though the router says it is working

2 - When the above happens, it wont shut down, it just stays on "Windows is shutting down".

3 - This only happened about an hour ago and has happened twice since, all five of the lights on my router (power,diag,USB,ethernet,DSL) glow green and lock themselve's green, all of them, im not even on ethernet, and i dont know what diag is either.

Do you know what this could be? anyone? Its really bugging me cause I cant download torrents properly, cant use my computer properly without fear of it just stopping working, its just sooooo annoying..

any help greatly appreciated.

You've activated microsoft's built in spam protection. If a user continually types for more than 8 hours, it locks up.

Do you have torrents running when this happens, the number of connections could be crashing your router. Try lowering the number of connections for your torrent client.

Also I'd like to recommend a client for you to use,

That's a good point, i did have torrent's running at that time, ill give that other torrent client a try

well, I cant change cause my mom knows NOTHING about that stuff so she wouldent do it, but im on BT Anytime 2mb broadband, with a usage limit of 15gb's a month

I dont do much but download about 20 songs a week, surf the net and use msn, apart from playin q2, q3 that is, so... I dont think I get through it easily, 15gb = half of my hard drive lol

my cap is 60gb i think
of course my speed is also at 6mb down/800kb up
so threy need to have it high

not that i use that much tho
i dont download any songs or warez or stuff like that

i hardly play games either aswell, i just surf

anyways, if you still have problems, i would contact your isp

My isp are a bag of wank! (If noone gets that, its derbyshire slang, for - not very good) They dont help AT all! and refuse to accept its their fault, stuff like that, it took me a month for them to realise they had a problem up their end when I first set the net up!

My ISP has no cap, I'm on their 4Mbps/386Kbps plan.

It would suck so bad if they did.

I'm not sure how accurate Everest is or if it's counting the full eight days I've had my computer on or just the two since I had connection problems, but here's a screen shot of Everest and the connection status side by side. I use my bandwidth.

EDIT:
I don't think it's counting the full 8 days, because I think the Bytes recieved and sent should be higher than that. My Bytes sent should be higher than recieved, if not closer to recieved.
