It's amazing (and pathetic) how this exactly parallels the Audi thing 25 years ago. Same "out-of-control" car, same demograhic, and the same 'lets gang up on the manufacturer' mentality. Amazing how the worst drivers on the road can team up with their litigation lawyers and can hurt a car brand through bullshit.
What I don't get is that stupid drivers are not confined to just the Toyota brand. There are loads in the others too. Yet no stories on runaway Chevys, Fords, Chryslers, Honda's etc. How odd.

Good article on the Prius Hoax. Has more in depth investigation into the Sikes "incident" than CNN or any of the other media lamers. Seems Mr Sikes also has a track record of filing false insurance claims and is massively in debt.
