q2dm2 best q2 map ever?

I've been absolutely sick to death of DM1 for about 6 years.

DM2 is good but I don't like the water tunnels at the bottom.
The GL area is relatively quiet usually, same as GL area in Lost Hallways - You pick the gun up and head off to where the action is or up for the MH.
I don't like the easily camp-able lifts in DM2: ie lift to RG/BFG/RA and the lift to MH.
I also don't like the position of RL which is an obvious spam point for a cheap and easy frag.

IMO DM8 is by far the best DM map - well balanced areas/gun/ammo/armour placement, some fun jumps and interesting areas.  I like the little ramp edges on the walkways.  The action seems to happen everywhere with no real 'quiet spots'
Worst thing about DM8 is when it finishes you know crappy boring DM1 is next   Time to jump on the ledge in the outside area and see how many rockets/rails I can dodge before dying

I do agree though. Q2dm1 should be on the list due to it's popularity, but I still don't like it, and mainly because it's been done to death. Dm8 is much better for "multiplayer", which I assume they mean to be FFA or team tourney games (not 1v1). But then again, I really don't like any of the stock DM maps anymore. That's why I'd much rather play vanilla or mutant. Any map without FUCKING LAVA is fine by me. Put a 40 foot tall fence around the lava, I'll probably still find a way to fall the fuck in. BUT WHO GIVES A SHIT WHAT A REDNECK THINKS! Game on.

aside from that my vote goes to dm8, 2 is a ripper if you wanna play kill the camper but for hunt n kill has to be 8 - just like the scrub out the back of this place perfect hunting country no choke points

Yeah unfortunately I've been linked to one of those things before because someone thought it was funny. The idea, I guess, is that guys can pull off to the side of the road and take a leak in the bushes in case of emergency. Supposedly women don't do this because it's too embarrasing for them or whatever. So the idea is that you keep one in case of a roadside emergency.

Not that this is already too much information or anything, but it get's worse. They make cardboard versions that are supposed to be kept in your glove compartment and reused.
