I liked the idea about highlighting some players who are fragging it up on the servers, who may never have visited IRC or the forums.

I play most every day on the ffa servers.  Have since Q2 came out. 

Just not very motivated by competetive gameplay.

How would we pick such a player then? If they have not posted on IRC or the forums we wouldn't know much about them, how would we determine whether someone deserves it over another?

Agree.  We just ask or send them a link in game.
