Ke$ha is the death of music. It's been coming for a while and we've all known it...but its done. This chick is nail in the coffin. My radio can never recover from this...and quite frankly I'm pretty sure the world is about to end. If you haven't heard her...her is a taste of the terrible that now rules the airwaves. As a general rule, I don't understand the whole "club scene" theme of pop nowadays. Especially considering that it's mostly middle school kids listening to it and emulating it... how many of them have been to a club? Have any of them had a woman puke on them? It's like it's generally recognized as this awesome place to be, when it reality it's usually a bit of a bore. I... just don't get it. At least punk in the 90s was about kids getting beat up at home and at school, something that was relevant. And at least techno doesn't *need* to be relevant to anything. Cept drugs. And that's always relevant.

So, yeah. The club thing. I don't get the appeal. Or why it's been on the mainstream for the past half-decade.

And despite these last two responses this is some the worst music I've ever heard in my life. When I first heard the first song, I thought it was the worst song tht I had heard at least i nthe last 5 years. I didn't/coudln't imagine that she could actually have even crappier songs....I was wrong. The suck just continues with this chick.

Depends on the club I guess. There are clubs... and then there are clubs where white people should NEVER go. From what I hear, it's pretty easy to pick up a slutty broad for a one night stand. The white chick clubs are fucking retarded though. There used to be a bar district in Atlanta, specifically in Buckhead. There was this "club" there called Mako's. It was basically a place to have lame bachelorette parties where they'd have random dudes from the crowd come up and join in on the bachelorette games they'd sometimes play. Peel the banana with no hands... where the dude would hold the banana there and the blindfolded bride or bridesmaid would peel it with her teeth. Fuckin retarded... unless you're a college age white girl, then I guess you'd dig that lame shit.

Strip clubs are sometimes fun. Occasionally you can get a blowjob in a VIP room if you pick the place and dancer. Sometimes they have novelty acts, like Bridget the Midget, the midget stripper. Sometimes these backwoods strip clubs are awesome for a few laughs. Theres one in Gainesville that had me and my buddy ROLLING when we walked in. It was like Jerry Springer up in that shithole. They had a chick that looked to be 7 months pregnant dancing on the stage. I usually try to be respectable and tip any chick on stage in my general area 1 dollar per dance. She came over to thank me and somehow started chatting a little with me and my friend. Somehow the conversation worked its way to, "Yeah, my mom works here too, that's her over there!" And she waves at us. I must've bit a hole in my tongue trying not to laugh.

That place was a fuckin trip. Some of the dumbest bastards working there you'd ever meet. I asked the big fat blob bitch bartender lady for a "Stormtrooper", which is half Jager and half Rumple Minze. She had no clue how to make it. I tell her, "It's half jager, half rumple." Pretty simple, huh? Well she comes back with this big fuckin iced tea sized glass FULL OF FUCKIN LIQUOR! "That'll be $6.25" I was like....... "Are you sure?" So I ended up getting shitfaced trashed that night for only about 25 bucks. I bought 2 beers and a red bull too before I left. I figured it'd help me stay alert and drive not as drunk. Didn't work. Got a DEWEY that night for doing 90 in a 55 and blowing a .12 in the mini-breathalyzer. Also got my ass kicked by 3 cops while I was still cuffed for supposedly "resisting arrest" or some shit. The cop that arrested me got murdered in a gunfight a few months later though. All good.

Ah, good times.

But yeah, clubs suck. It's okay if you just want to people-watch or just for an occasional break from the norm. As a regular activity, I find it pretty boring. Even strip clubs. Sure, I love naked women. Sure, I love beer. But after you've spent your college years hanging around them more than the school campus, the whole fatal fascination with naked dancing girls and copious amounts of alcohol kinda wears off. Might as well sit at home looking at porn on the internet. The beers are a lot cheaper that way.

I don't think clubs or strip clubs are fun. I clicked the first kesha link and it sounded retarded to me, but hell, some people like it. My girlfriend likes Lady Gaga, I don't. She plays it in her car, I don't like it. To my misfortune, Lady Gaga really get stuck in my head. Which leads me to believe that although it may be retarded, talentless in many aspects, etc...... her music must have some catchy/appealing aspects for me to even have it on my mind without trying. And no, I don't like Lady Gaga or think she's some great musician. I am a better pianist than her.

Meh, the whole dance pop scene is just a revival of the early 90s techno scene, but now it has dirtier lyrics and hip-hop affiliation, which of course grants it an extra level of coolness. Nowadays when people hear someone crank shit like this:

Rap is even worse to me. I'm pretty sure I could act like a drunk asshole with a shitty raspy voice talking about bitches, drugs, and money... lol, all the while making millions. Seriously those guys have it made. It's ridiculously stupid.

I have to disagree with you about the rap comment, commercialised terrible rap like 50 bent, Small wayne, etc. for the most part sucks balls. It isn't ALL like that though.
