think im going to try a sorcerer, I heard they merc quite hard and I cba to level another gladiator till live

(unless the chars havent been reset, but afaik they have)

Looks like you your order the game directly through the NCSoft store they enable your account with a beta key right away. Picked up a couple collectors editions for the fiance and myself. So we'll be nerding it out all night tonight lol

Haha yes, gonna grab some beers after work. She should already be in game since she doesn't have a job (3pm EST we can log in here).

I plan to play a Gladiator since she insists on playing a Cleric herself. I've mostly always played melee classes in MMOs but in Warhammer I got hooked on Sorc... I'm still tempted to play one in this game. So we'll see how things pan out.

I managed to worm my way into the Champions beta,but only played it 3 times since they insist upon running the servers when I am due to go to bed.Not their fault,really:I work nights and bedtime is 1PM or so. But it has been fun,and vaguely like the pen n paper game I obsessed over in my tortured youth. I just wish I had a nice fat manual to refer to since there is so much going on and some aspects of the stuff you get from drops has only placeholder graphics so you guess most of the time what does what.But its a pretty game and I can get my clunker to run it halfway decently.

Other than that I have been revisiting ancient games via the Good Old Games website. The original Unreal hasn't aged well but the level design still manages to awe by the sheer space that engie is able to render....no crampt brown corridors but vast colorful expanses...Shogo is laughable in how badly the graphics render people which look like stick figures made with blocks and crazy glue by some demented child. But there are gems to be had there and many sales.

And lastly I play my near daily rounds of Quake....under a different name and model.
Guess who and then guess why.

ah if you have a cleric behind you its all gravy. 1-10 on a warrior (then you turn it into a glad) is gay cause you have to use 1h and shield, but then when you get to be a glad its pretty coooool. I always played melee and dont usually want to play casters but asassins are very gay to level because they die so quickly and never wanted to play a hunter/ranger, so sorc it is.
