Q2, crysis and ETQW lately..

here are my ETQW stats from the last couple months since I picked it up..

Some of the strafejumping and attack skills translate over easily from q2, and the teamplay is really quite intricate even on pub servers. There seems to be an effective counter for pretty much any type of attack/vehicle/strategy so you don't often get completely steamrolled and you're challenged for most of the match, no matter what class you play.

I even tk'd The Happy Friar last night with a poorly targetted violator (orbital laser).

I wish I have the time for all these games. Quake 2 is the only game I play online. The rest is a much used picklist for offline single player and lan games.

saw you on there last night. I was getting killed to fast to say much of anything.

A lot different atmosphere vs Q2. nobody really likes to shoot-the-shit while playing ETQW.

Were you playing on the Refinery map? With the GDF having ~5 or 6 soldiers @ the last objective, but they were all outside just taking out vehicles? That was golden.

I rained down plasma mortars and violators from the refinery building rooftop for the last 4 minutes or so without gettin sniped and I must have killed about 20 guys and wounded tons of others suppressing the spawnpoint and the guys who tried to lemming rush the refinery.

Never had to go inside!

Oh yeah, I left that one off. I have it. I've played through only the first and last levels. Never beat the game all the way through like you're supposed to because the weapons were a little boring. Other than that, it was a decently put together game I suppose.
