You'll have to excuse the ample usage of DJ Hero tracks. I got the game over the holiday season and it's made me look back at all the music I used to listen to (Turntablism).
My Style of HipHop. I love the beats that Format produces and Abdominal's style is so smart.
DJ FORMAT w/ Abdominal - "Viscous Battle Raps"
DJ FORMAT w/ Abdominal - "Viscous Battle Raps"
DJ FORMAT w/ Abdominal - "The Hit Song"
DJ FORMAT w/ Abdominal - "The Hit Song"
Beeing looking up alot of songs that have been sampled to death and a few Faves have been:
Gary Numan - Cars
The Original
Fear Factory did an excellent cover
DJ Hero Daft Punk's Technologic
DJ Hero Daft Punk's Technologic
Billy Squier - The Big Beat
The Original
The Dizzee Rascal Sample - Fix Up, Look Sharp
(He looks like another punk but he's actually a pretty good MC, a unique sound from London)
Grandmaster Flash vs Cars
ELECTRO!!!!
Hashim - Al Naafiysh
Man Parrish - Boogie Down Bronx
Freestylers - Don't Stop The Rock
Freestylers - Don't Stop The Rock
(bonus)
That's it for now. Kinda got distracted making this post bc I'm listening to it all right now.

The wife and I attended The San Diego Drum Summit this evening - "An expansive look at rhythm featuring some of the region's best percussionists" held at Dizzy's, a jazz club downtown.
It was pretty badass.
There were about 12 different drummers and percussionists, and an assortment of piano, sax, bass players and a flautist and a guitar player, rotating in and out for different tunes. Sometimes two drummers playing at once. One drummer played some uber-polyrhythmic cuban samba-funk fusion stuff and that fucker SOUNDED like two drummers. Times like that I was listening in rapt attention with a big stupid grin on my face.
About three hours of music.
Good times.

That's one of their funnier songs, but they can flip a switch, and become devastatingly sad and tragic. Flip another switch, and their banging on drums with baby dolls. It all ends up being very sincere, and avoids being campy.
You'd think that with the theatrics it'd feel like a glam show that attempts to express something through campiness, but this completely sidesteps even that.
Cool stuff.

Yeah King Diamond is amazing. My personal favorite is probably The Puppet Master, that's the first album I've heard from him. I'm still working on getting some of his other matieral.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
