Megaman q2 quick user guide:

Weapons:
1. Mega Buster - Chargeable plasma blaster
2. Dust Crusher - Blocks of compacted trash that break into bouncing shrapnel after hitting a wall
3. Skull Shield - Protective Skulls that rotate around the player. These skulls cause massive damage if they touch an enemy
4. Crash Bomb - Timed explosive that drills into walls
5. Rolling Cutter - Boomerang style blade that cuts trough players and shields continuing to the next victem
6. Hyper Bomb - Timed bouncy explosives
7. Magnet Missile - Magnetic missiles that attract to nearby players
8. Needle Cannon - Rapid fire cannon that fires large spiked projectiles
9. Gemini Laser - Extremely powerful lasers that bounce off of walls
0. Zero's Sabre - Beam sword that can cut instantly through any enemy and can be charged to fire explosive plasma projectiles

Additional commands:
To dash forward quickly, crouch and then press forward.
Press G to summon Rush, your faithful canine robot sidekick who will spring you up into the air to otherwise hard to reach places
Since you are a large metal robot, you will sink in water. However you can hold in the jump button to jump higher while submerged.

Powerups:
E-Tank (adrenaline) - Press +use to heal quickly. Can be recharged by picking up health
Rocket Boots (ammo pack) - Press +use to dash while in the air
Climbing Boots (bandolier) - Press and hold +use to climb walls
X-Buster (power screen) - Allows player to charge up any weapon for a more powerful attack
Phase Shield (power shield) - After taking damage, the player gains temporary invincibility for 1.5 seconds
Double Buster (silencer) - Press +use to fire or charge up a second Mega Buster
Riding Tank (Quad) - Press +use to fire rockets or regular fire to fire the plasma cannon. When this tank is destroyed the player will continue playing as a normal robot.
Power Armor (Invulnerability) - Player only takes 1/5th damage and will also charge up a power meeter. Once this power meeter is full, press +use to cause a massive explosion.

Other gameplay changes:
- Weapon switching commands are all hard coding to your normal weapon keys. Rebinding is not necessary.
- You cannot switch weapons while you still have a projectile in the air. So if you have a skull shield on, you must wait until it is gone before switching again.
- To drop a powerup use the droptech command. You cannot drop a tank, it must be destroyed.
- Players riding a tank cannot pick up items
- Super armor can be charged by picking up armor, however environmental damage will not charge the power armor.

this one might have to be a two weaker just because it's more complex then normal.  similar to TF, but with the word "sex" in it to make it just that much cooler.

Are you insinuating that women are the weaker sex? Sexual discrimination is a serious issue and pretty easy to get a conviction based on fairly sketchy circumstantial evidence. Be careful, you might find yourself served with papers.

9pm EST.  From the look of it my server runs fine, just needs someone to manually change maps, which is no big deal as me, jehar & peewee all have rcon access.

the only thing i noticed...
when i first join the server, the menu for team selection never displays for me.  I have to connect, then type "rejoin" in console, then i get the team selection.

...but not a big deal, as long as people know to type "rejoin" if they can't get the team selection menu to display.

Friar,  I fixed the map voting on my linux server by removing the line feeds in the vote.lst.   I posted the files to the other bots thread.

i got the voting to work but not the rotation. So people can change maps if they want, but if they didn't know how to use the vote system it won't change.
