Vermont and NH seem like another country to me, and i'm in upstate NY ( I go to Vermont a lot). Never been to NH, I was just asusming NH was just like Vermont. I love Vermont, but I think the ski resorts get way to much hype, NY has Whiteface, I just love it, and I've been to Vail and Breckenridge out in CO, just something about Whiteface. Anyways, skiing is just for tourists now, and not for actual skiers, I can almost not afford to go at all anymore, since tickets themselves are 80 bucks a pop, so Joey from NYC can have some fun, fuckin bs.

I'm suprised at how liberal VT is considering its population densitiy. Personally I agree with Bernie Sanders and Howard Dean almost all the time.., to each his own. All I hear Bernie Sanders rant about is the Iraq war, so if you think it wasn't done right, or necessary, he's speaking about something pretty important to you.

I moved up from Taxachussetts in 95' when I bought a house in Derry and soon found out that they refered to us as Massholes..hehe, rightly so.
I moved up here for a better life without Big Brother living my life for me (or at least trying too). But I never wanted NH to change into MA like all those massholes that move up here and want everything just like in MA. Before you know it the taxes go up and we are in helmets and seat belts and hmm where did our guns go?

Why not? I am not a skier but I know there are some good ski slopes in NH.
Upstate NY is real nice. I ride my scoot up there alot, do some camping. I love riding by all the farms, I even can appreciate the smell of cow shit. Some real pretty country up there, nice place to live.

haha yup that's what we call it. I work in Mass so I have to pay a income tax, fuck you mass. I live in Nashua, right on the boarder...

In Pittsburgh there is both a smoking ban (in a city of probably 70% smokers) and an insanely high additional tax on all alcoholic beverages.

As for stupid laws. We have to turn on our headlights if our wipers are on, we're not allowed to drive in the left lane of a highway for more than 2 minutes (seriously, how the hell do you enforce that?), and doubled fines for driving more than 3 miles per hour in construction.

Stupid laws DON'T go away. The idiots behind them just keep trying until they win.
