hello, permanent namechange from leviathan to eumnx... had a convo with tox about this and he didn't wanna tell me how to do it right so here i am.

I find it very hard to believe leviathan could be so dumb. Did you think your 'leviathan' stats would just automatically transfer themselves to your new nick?
No. You've been around long enough to know that you can only do a permanent name-change with an admin who has to restart the server for the change to take effect.

Even after you posted this you still went and completed atr_kjump3 and got a place on the board despite there already being a 'leviathan' on there. Hence pushing some poor noob off the bottom of the table and lowering their score.

People have been banned for doing this in the past. Others can only join the server with a certain name (wetarded for instance) or they're kicked. Leviathan has seen this before and yet still chooses to spam the scoreboards.

It's beyond a joke that an experienced jumper comes and does this. It's a piss take.

Well if this works and is possible, hopefully if others want the same, they will use the same procedure, if they want to start afresh, but without using the name beforehand, or there is a way to change names and keep your statistics which ive done for players in the past, easy as, all you have to do is ask

Sorry, I have very little idea about what is possible with jumpmod as far as mass-delete of someone's stats.

Personally, I thought the main thing we cared about was someone changing names rapidly to spam scoreboards. If someone changes their name once every six months, it doesn't seem like a big deal to me if their old scores remain.

muleskinner/squirt managed this without any trouble at all. As did santher/Maotoyon. Why is leviathan treated differently?
