Was gonna add chinese democracy, starcraft II, etc, but apparently those either are already released or will be shortly.

QuakeLive sure is taking a while for there already being lots of browser games on the market. You'd think they were inventing them!

you know what i dont understand is how can a Developer like EA release a COD game YEARLY and it takes ID 2 years to recreate a 9 year old game in the form of a browser it just doesnt make sense to me

Do you have any idea what EA's headcount is versus id's? Also, id only allocated a few resources to QuakeLive. Most of their employees are working on other (revenue generating) titles. How do you feel entitled to complain about a free game, exactly?

And btw, it's "id", not "ID." Kind of like "Ed", not "eye dee".

Again, because apparently you missed it in my first reply, id only put a small team on QL. It's not their current blockbuster title. And what incentive do they have to rush it out the door?

Believe it or not, they are a business that needs to make money in order to survive. They do not exist to fulfill your every whim as you spend your life clicking and twitching in front of a monitor.

who cares, id ID iD Id software indeed is taking too long with QL. And not only QL, but RAGE, it doesnt look next-gen anymore. They think theyre still in the late nineties where they can work at their own timing, and take years to release the "next awesome kicka** game", while everyone waits. Thats not the case anymore.
