what kind of cmd is it: gun_x/y/z? it doesnt work with opentdm, but works when demo is played...
is there any q2pro analog?

Well I can't find anything on the q2pro client documentation, https://skuller.net/q2pro/nightly/client.html

But, if you have fov set to 90, and hand set to 0 or 1, like this:


fov 90
hand 0


... Then these settings for vanilla quake2 should work to change how far left, right, up, down, forward, back, the gun is:


gun_x
    Type: Toggle

    Default: 0

    Description: The x-axis position of the player's gun.

    Note: The x-axis is the left to right axis with negative numbers on the left and positive on the right.
gun_y
    Type: Toggle

    Default: 0

    Description: The y-axis position of the player's gun.

    Note: The y-axis is the forward and back axis with negative numbers back and positive forward.
gun_z
    Type: Toggle

    Default: 0

    Description: The z-axis position of the player's gun.

    Note: The z-axis is the up and down axis with negative numbers down and positive up.

Like Pepp said, you can XYZ the gun into the middle and it looks really cool. In DM these settings do not seem to hold, but the gun is pushed right or left according to your setting.

 Likely not, but is there any way around this?

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
