My first computer that belonged to me was back in 2004. I remember getting this Logitech Keyboard with a ps/2 connector, along with the Logitech mouse. That thing died on me back in 2008. I hadn't used this keyboard for the longest time since 2006. I finally bought a low profile ps/2 card like so...



And it seems to work with my Microsoft usb to ps/2 mouse.




I've been playing Quake 2 on the servers with this thing, and it's reasonably well. It's a bit rough for being rubber dome. But then again this is an older keyboard. I guess the rubber was manufactured that way.

Just got an Intel 330 120GB SSD and holy shit things load fast.

...SSD's are awesome...totally worth the upgrade and pretty damn cheap...check out http://slickdeals.net for some regular deals...

...plus they've pretty much worked out the issues with earlier drives/firmware and you should be able to get at least 5 years or more out of a decent model...Windows 7 Experience Index for the HD went from 5.9 to 7.9 even though my SSD is only on SATA II

hasnt arrived yet still rockin my g63 for now... but the one i linked to is just a step up from my friends, and his does crysis 2 MP like nothing, so should serve me just fine on most the games ill touch

asus ROG laptops are great bang for your buck

a little more than a high end desktop yeah... but I just can't see myself sinking money into a desktop again since I mostly use my laptop for its mobility :/ i basically only use my desktop for quake cause the mouse and screen all works the way im used to

and im getting it right before darksiders 2 comes out hoping it has sweet visuals, the art style is awesome in the first one

the trailers are all a bit cheesy for the first one second one has some good trailers, it is kind of the same genre and god of war and devil may cry, just has a really cool art style and it was quite well done
