Cursing , Camping, and the Console

It doesn't surprise me that there are "older" gamers out there. I'm 39 and have been weened on Atari 800s,Pac man and Nintendo since the early 80's.Time will never diminish my love for this new art form,and I can picture myself still playing Quake X in my eighties.Or Duke Nukem Forever,whichever comes first!

I had to use puch cards for my Fortran class in 1980. I did not type well and you can't fill in the holes after mistakes   . i used many cards in my day. many trees lost their lives so i could run programs. God bless new technology.

And how about the frustration of spending hours coding only to have it kicked for one little mispunch [is that even a word?]  and then having to wait sometimes two or three days before your turn came up again?

Fortran eh? Did you ever use it after school?

Fortran ? I thought I was the only sole left alive to have to suffer through those punch cards
Well I stopped counting my age when I was 30 and that was 16 years ago
