An assault rifle, is a weapon that shoots at least 10 rounds a second or 800 rounds a minute, which depending on the setting, select-fire rifle, is capable of 3 round burst or fully automatic, these weapons are for military use only
No civilian should have access to this type of weapon, but criminals do use them, I remember seeing video of a bank robbery in California, where the criminals used fully automatic weapons, there was a big shoot out in the streets with the police
People are rushing nationwide to get guns, they are afraid that new restrictions on the purchase of these guns in a President Obama Administration and Democratic dominated Congress will result in tough new laws
Could this be the reason people are rushing to buy these guns
