To add my collection I've decided to make a purchase post election.

I thought you'd all be interested to know, that at lunch today I purchased an AR-15.  This isn't the exact one, but it's essentially the same:

Apparently after the election they have been having trouble keeping them on the shelf.  I bought the last one they had.  The guy needs to order more, but Bushmaster hasn't given their new, post-election, prices.  He expects them to be about $500 more in a month.

One of the most perfect all-purpose rifles ever designed.

I believe it's H&K that makes a compact version of that. Not like a machine "pistol" though, just a shorter muzzle and stock, better for confined spaces.

I know someone makes that for the M&P, if you search gunbroker.com for M&P 16 there's one for sale that comes with that mag.  Future investment.  It's a relatively new piece of equipment, so there aren't a ton of accessories.  I actually kind of wish I went with the AR because there's so much out there for it.  But this I think was a better deal, the rounds are designed to tumble twice from when they enter to when the leave a torso

I am a fan of H&K weapons, I actually own a HK45 after I decided my Glock17 wasn't enough stopping power for a person cracked out on PCP :p

You know why we have the constitutional right to bear arms and it's not just so we can have guns, it's so we will be able to defend ourselves against Hostile Government takeover, Revolution, or Foreign invasion.
Our forefathers knew what they we're doing.

What most folks don't realize is that the laws WORK JUST FINE how they are. Honestly, I think some folks really believe that murderers and bank robbers are walking into gun shops and buying machine guns and shit on their debit cards in 15 minutes. People that are using high powered firearms in the commission of felonies are not obtaining them by legal means or obtaining them FROM someone who is obtaining them by legal means. In the state of GA, if you own any automatic assault rifles, you sign an agreement allowing the police to search your house at any time without a search warrant. You are not allowed to ride around in your car with your machine gun loaded on the seat beside you.

These liberal democrat gun law lobbyists are a bunch of fucking pussies with their heads up their asses. I think it's tragic and ridiculous how much violent crime there is in the US, but enforcing these stupid frivolous laws on LAW ABIDING citizens is not going to effect one god damn thing about the crime rate. These fucking soft good-guy badge shining pussies need to open their eyes and see the world as it REALLY is. Any criminal already has the personal philosophy that he is above the law, so obviously that's not addressing the problem. Judges need to hand out SERIOUS sentences to those who are convicted of using a firearm to commit manslaughter and murder. More death penalty. No more of this 10-15 years served per murder bullshit. If you take someones entire life, I hardly see how 10 or 15 years of your life pays for who knows how long the rest of the victims might have been.

On a good note, judge-killer Brian Nichols was found GUILTY today. I'd be willing to bet a very large sum of money that he will receive the death penalty. Good for them if they do, at least they can do ONE thing right. They need to making a shining example of that piece of shit and fry his ass in the electric chair.

...although I could think of MUCH more entertaining ways to get the job done...

An assault rifle, is a weapon that shoots at least 10 rounds a second or 800 rounds a minute, which depending on the setting, select-fire rifle, is capable of 3 round burst or fully automatic, these weapons are for military use only 

No civilian should have access to this type of weapon, but criminals do use them, I remember seeing video of a bank robbery in California, where the criminals used fully automatic weapons, there was a big shoot out in the streets with the police
