Those sticky spots suck, unless you just got a great frag because someone was stuck. The SP levels are so comlex that the guys at id didn't have enough time to find every glitch. Doing that would take years. I once tried that on base2, and I gave up after about 4 hours.

BTW, the dm64 levels don't have any noticeable sticky spots. I don't know why.

Of course, a mapper could add wall physics like that to amke a really wierd deathmatch level. Think about it, having the ability to walk up walls (ladder shader for the entire map?) That would be great! I think I'll make that and post it here.

That happens on many maps. I think city1 and the Trture Chambers have the worst, but there are others (q2dm2?).
I make maps sometimes, and that's really hard to avoid with a large map. I think it is a problem with the shader and texture extending out a tiny bit. Not enough to see easily, but enough to walk on. Quirky Quake 2 physics. Don't try to walk on one of those in a deathmatch, you'll just be an open target. Fragfodder, as the_reaper would say (inside joke).

Mini black holes won't do too much damage. All the could do is suck up a few atoms. Now, if they put a few billion terrawatts into the thing, we could have a problem. But that's impossible. Anyway, think of what we could do with anti-matter. Build a nuke that could vaporize the planet, of course! And, if multiple universes exist, we could communicate with them using waves of gravitons (string theroy)!

That would be a real paradigm shift

Someone used paradigm and it's not 1995? EEK!  :ubershock:
