Politics / Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Thread

Oof. Wife sent me this. Apparently this Detroit bus driver fell ill about 4 days after posting this video about being coughed on, and died today.

(If not for WHO and CDC bullshitting about "masks don't help", people in these circumstances might still be alive.)

I remember seeing this story in our local news (I live outside Detroit, but work in and around it as a local trucker.) Ive always been curious if they ever found the bitch that coughed without covering up.  Wondering if she died too.  This weekend has been glorious in his temps and sun.  And its definitely brought out all the cabin fever people, some of which still dont do a damn thing they were told to do like wear masks and keep their distance.  By now the world has to be laughing at us watching all the protests esp the ones that came from our state up in Lansing.  Buncha losers showing up with guns, racist propaganda, with no masks?  Im just waiting to see the stories of karma as some of these people lie in their death bed.  Heard it already happened to a guy in Ohio who was against the shutdowns.  Come to find out a week later, he died of it.  Family put out the post showing people proof that you need to do your due diligence by staying at home.

My wife is doing a 2 week quarantine in Guangzhou China as her family pressured her to leave the US during the start of the outbreak.  They say they have control over the outbreak, but we shall see.  But Im not sure if she will be allowed back in the US until the outbreak has past.  She planned on staying for a few months anyway to get her hyperthyroidism taken care of by her aunt, who is head of a big hospital there.  They feared that she might get complications if she got the virus.  And I can't argue that because I am an essential worker in the trucking industry and come home every day with possibility of being exposed, although low risk. Still, to wait 2 weeks in a hotel room and not be able to go outside, is more maddening to me. I told her that I cannot come join her until they lift that 2 week quarantine cause there is no way I am spending all my vacation cooped up in a room.

Saw an editorial from the south china post about China lying about the death numbers.  One unnamed citizen said that 2 orders of 5000 urns each came just to 1 funeral home and that the stacks had been burning nonstop.  Pretty sure they still hold the record for deaths unofficially lol

Trouble Shooting / Server lag issues now?
« on: March 14, 2020, 06:43:49 PM »
Ok so I see its been awhile since anything has been written about this. Is it any different for reasons why? Seems there are a lot of quick lag spikes and thats when there is a handful of people.  Btw, what was the command for the netgraph? Is it not useable in DM anymore? I always used /netgraph before but it doesnt work.

My wife is from China and I have been there a handful of times in different parts of the country.  And I can say first hand that the country is definitely overpopulated and poor in their rural areas.  So its no doubt that they get anything they can eat if it moves including vermin.  While my wife doesn't eat that stuff, she does eat the typical tripe, pork brains, jello'd pig blood, and about all seafood.  And she eats it spicy AF lol. Since so many problems came from there over the years (swine flu, bird flu, SARS, etc), Im pretty sure this had been started in China too.  The wet markets are full of nasty things.

Maybe next year I will try to get in on the picks action.  As much as I hate Ohiya State, I still think them and LSU will be in the championship.

I would send 2 women to grab:

1 large margarita glass
A box of laxatives
And a spoon

Yeah my team totally crapped the bed against OSU.  I cant stand the fellow fans who overhype the game every year.  Im a realist and see a good OSU team.  Id like to see a OSU-LSU natty game.

Gonna start making my slogan GO BOO.  Buncha BS from a coach Id expect better from.  And Don Brown (defensive coordinator) crapped the bed once again.  He has lost his touch.

Les Miles I heard accepted a coaching job at Kansas.

And nice to know my Michigan team crapped the bed again.  Lets just RUN the ball when other teams exploited OSU's secondary by throwing it.  Archaic coaching at its best.

Trouble Shooting / Re: EGL issue
« on: July 08, 2018, 03:07:54 PM »
Ok, I downloaded one from gamefront online and it must have been the most recent file because I was able to connect online as usual again.  The one I had downloaded before this was v0.3.1.  This one I have now is v0.2.4.  Maybe the first one was corrupt.  Either way, Im good now.  Thanks.  May the Moo be with Yoo.  Ya herd me?

Yeah everywhere I try to download it, the file turns out malicious in nature.  My antivirus has surely vaulted many files. Even a link from the anti cheat link in a post here leads to another link to EGL that has that virus (probably should take it down lol)

This is what I see when it searches for the issue

Trouble Shooting / EGL issue
« on: July 04, 2018, 10:43:28 AM »
First of all, I know many will say that is the main issue is using EGL lol.  But its what I have come to use and like playing through. But I had some issues a few months ago and decided to delete all files and extensions related to EGL so I could redownload the whole thing to see if it fixed it (like maybe a corrupt file or something, although I dont remember the issue now.)  Anyway, it goes through a Norton antivirus (always played through that with no issues), and I can see the servers and how many people are in them.  But when I try to connect to any of them, EGL stops responding, so I am stuck with the awaiting connection screen.  It was so long ago when I first started using EGL that I thought I remembered someone sending me or telling me about modifying a file to allow me to use EGL easier.  Now I am just trying to get back to seeing how I was able to connect back then.  Help lol

Did this end up working for you? I had connection issues with EGL so I deleted it and tried redownloading it, only to end up seeing the servers, but it always showed no one was on, although people were. So now I am going through the hassle of trying to remember how I set it all up to begin with lol
