Derv - You summed it up perfectly.

Within a few moments of a new character, you can tell if they will be dead soon, or a mainstay.  Like the guy that questioned Rick, on the mission to get rid of the horde, I thought right away - 'This mofo is dead'.

I think living a large community makes it tough on the writers to either have random people running around with zero plot, or give each of them a little plot.  Either way I think it thins out the main characters involvement and makes it seem like lazy writing.  What annoys me, is when they give a character some heavy plot and involvement, then they disappear for tons of episodes.  Example, would be the gay dude, forgot his name already, since he has only been shown for like 5 minutes talking to Maggie all season.

I don’t care enough about most TV shows to think about the writing, I just go along with it, while thinking about other shit.  But, this show does allow me to get more involved, which is a sign of a good show.  In my opinion at least.

Haaa - only reason I saw it was due to me spilling my beer and got distracted cleaning it up.  Usually turn it off, when the credits roll.

Agreed, it is pretty predictable at times, but I still enjoy it overall.  The filler episodes, between the major story plots at times feel unneeded, but at the same time, I still like watching them.

This dude I work with reads the comics and has been talking about this Negan guy forever.  If he holds true to the comic book, he sounds pretty fucking nuts, so may be an entertaining villain.  Hoping more so than the Governor, who always reminded me of the guy who played Farris Buellers depressed friend Camron, which annoyed the shit out of me.

I tried to watch Z nation, but struggled getting past the first episode due to the acting, may give it another try though.

-- THE MID SEASON FINALE --

I am hoping that daryl sasha and abraham pick them up and continue heading to washington dc.

We need another MERL, or a bill murray, or someone that everyone can just drop their jaw for.....

Guess you didn't watch after the credits, where daryl, sasha and abraham get abducted by the group led by the next MERL or bill murray or someone that everyone can just drop their jaw for.....

Ohh did I just ruin it for you?

Brees is stud to watch, I am feeling they will be bowl bound.

This time of the NFL season is always funny to me, when teams ‘in the hunt’ have these insane scenarios that need to play out for the team to make the playoffs.  The Bengals are in that situation right now, where everyone is laying out all options.  Like this team needs to lose and then this one tie, then a small goat needs to fart in a northern direction.  What’s even better is when it actually happens and team gets to the play offs, by some weird schedule.

I know the Bengals generate zero media, without Ocho, TO or Carson drama, but I am liking what I see in Dalton so far, as well as AJ Green and Simpson.

Too bad Shipley is out for the season.

Rabbit trail:
Although he's supposed to be "suspended" from the first 6 games of the regular season due to the shit that went on with the NCAA and Ohio State. That's pretty fucking retarded in my opinion. Just because he'd be suspended for half the season if he were still playing football in the NCAA, the NFL is going to kiss their ass by carrying over their stupid ruling. If the NFL and NCAA are going to start doing shit like that, they might as well go ahead and start giving college football players salaries like they talked about doing. Maybe then they could relax some of these nazi fuckin' rules about accepting gifts and the strict rules about when coaches can talk to potential recruits.

When I first heard Roger was enforcing this suspension of sorts, I thought it was fucking ridiculous.  But, if you put it in perspective, I agree with it now.  The NFL has always been a Swedish bank account for jackasses in the NCAA.  They break the rules in the NCAA, jump into an early draft, before the shit hits, then get a great salary – while the school football program suffers.  I think it sets the tone for the NCAA players, no longer assume you can do wrong in college and simply jump to the NFL.

Side note – I think the NCAA rules are total bullshit, but they are the rules.

Basically did the same, been about a year now, the selection on instant que can get boring though.  Hear rumors they are going to start offering better shit soon, where almost anything can be instant viewing.  But, will charge more to do so.

I am not taking away from the shot, it is a sweet one.

But was it staged?  Which is still badass by all accounts.

Gren is just standing there not moving, from the time the rocket is shot, then once it gets close, then he jumps right into it.

I never saw the whole demo, so I have no idea.

Title says it all. I notice it does so after the daily scan i have scheduled.

Not getting any accusations because it's missing but I am wondering why AVG still removes it even when it is added to BOTH the excluded directory AND file list.

Having the same issue. Derv was trying to help me with the same issue.  Got a new computer, with MacAfee, you can't create exemptions for an entire folder or path.  Just the exact file.  But, when unzipping the .dll, MacAfee grabs the .dll and doesn't allow an option to allow.  So, you can't create an exemption, if the file is already quarantined.  Tried many different things, but it is beyond me.  Frustrating indeed.

Did you make it yourself?  I can never get the rice right.  I haven't found the right recipe for the rice to match the way the resturants do it.

You are right.  I am not sure anymore either.

Other QB's and the NFL media, talk about him as being an elite QB, but with his record it isn't clear.  Almost like Boomer, once he left and was in a new system, he was able to play better.  I think Carson, had the skill to be in that elite status, but is in a system that doesn't allow it.  He has played 9 years with Cincinnati, two playoff runs, the first was his best year ever, but his knee was destroyed by a Steelers line man.  The second was like year and they were beat up by the Jets.  Yet no changes have happened to the coaches, nor the mind set.

They were a run team last year, which got them to the playoffs.  Then they pick up TO and try to be a passing team.  They didn't even try to mix it up, then the games where they did run a bunch, they typically won.  I think the front office, knows that passing sells tickets and makes people happy.  Mainly, when you have TO in the mix.  Just cause you add a single receiver, you shouldn't change the whole team scheme.

He is acting like a man, wanting out of a bad marriage.  Telling his wife, "Fuck you can keep the house, as long as I just get the fuck outta here!".

Only time I saw him smile this year, was when they were crushing the Chargers and he was using all the rookies and new receivers.  Chad and TO were out and he looked like he use to play.

Another year...

OCHOCINCO CHANGED HIS NAME BACK TO JOHNSON!  :yessign: :yessign: :yessign: :yessign: :yessign: :yessign: :yessign:

Wow, It only took their franchise quarterback threatening to leave to get shit done. Personally I hope Carson Palmer sticks with Cincinnati and Chad JOHNSON gets the fuck outta Ohio for good. Although I'd settle for Cincinnati keeping him as long as he shuts the fuck up and plays his position like THEY PAY HIM TO FUCKING DO.

Agreed.

I don't see Carson staying, but don't see him retiring as well.  He loves the game and is a good leader.  The Mike Brown way of doing things is what dooms the team.  With so many poor seasons, the same coaching staff is in place.  They need to get rid of the O coordinator.

Once, the Carson chaos was made public, you would have thought WW3 started here in Cincinnati.
