I could be wrong about you doing the name thing, I said it was most likely either you or D, if it's not you, then i'd obviously lean towards D. You're fibbing about the trolling/talking shit stuff; I could post numerous logs proving otherwise, but I won't bother because you have actually calmed down in this regard lately so perhaps you're making a change for the better, and/or if not, you'd just enjoy the attention...either way, I'll give you a break and not throw out a request to quadz to see if your common aliases state otherwise. . .;>
There is another player called "wiggy" that does these similar types of trolling, and he is extremely idiotic and unforgivably annoying. Very possible it could've been him.

I actually mentioned this repeated behavioral pattern of D's a good 3 years ago when it became apparent that he would not desist in doing this for his own entertainment.

While I personally seem to have little trouble tuning out players blathering on about {random nonsense} on the FFA servers, I also feel that a half-mute isn't some sort of outrageously burdensome sanction.
To test that, I've half-muted my own IP. I wonder if I'll notice at all.
all D, shogun, and ty do are chat it up while everyone's trying to frag. Mostly talking smack and/or deliberately trying to have fun at someone else's expense, slander them, or whatever. ty may be exempt from what I said after 'or' possibly, but certainly not the other two.
Most of their in-game chatroom antics aren't worthy of a mute, but even the fact that they use q2 servers as their chatroom is likely annoying to many. I wish they'd just join up in an irc channel or something, especially when they're not even fragging in between talking.
I try not to pay attention to this type of stuff, but D and shogun should both have half-mutes on them by now. This action would possibly encourage their little group to have their conversations in IRC or something like I said, as well.
Oh, and it's tough to tell which is doing the name spoofing at times, but I think the main culprit behind spoofing names like 'quadz' and 'haunted' on the dm server, like the logs I posted in my channel showed today, should be restricted to their normal name. Pretty sure that was either D or shogun.

i used pakscape and other quake installs to pull most of my q3a sounds into q2
the armor chink sound is better in q3 imo so I pulled that right from q3, but i pulled things like rocket sounds from qw too also pulled mh sound and grenade bounce sound from qw...
not that hard to edit paks yourself
I used pak explorer in the past but I downloaded random sounds from the net get different sounds, but I don't have q3arena. The q3arena sounds I like better. So baseq3 is not going to help. Thanks for responding I will try to look around for the sounds.
